Been going here for over 20 years and The food quality is better than ever now. New chef? Dunno. The absolutely most delicious scallops we have ever had. Cheese plate impeccable, endive salad delectable. Well done Laurent!
Cote Ouest is a gem. A short walk from the Muni 45 line stop, a stone's throw from the Palace of Fine Arts and voila we found ourselves in a village bistro outside of Paris surrounded by the aromas of dinner and French wine with terroir. In a word: delightful from the welcoming "bonsoir" to a satisfying dinner with excellent service. Good choices of wine by the glass. A simple salade vert for $8, nicely dressed. We had scallops and the lamb shank with white beans...
Very impressed! From the time I set my reservation to the end when we paid the bill, my experience has been flawless. Laurent was very helpful in accommodating my requests and very gracious to my guests. The food was superb! I loved the beet salad with the accompanying wine pairing the best. The service and ambience were also excellent. Can't recommend this restaurant more! Will definitely be back.
