Wait times to be attended to are atrocious, they don't staff the place enough. I was a guest at this hotel and had to factor in probably 30-45 mins extra for OFF PEAK lunches and dinner just for the wait time for having my order taken and billing after. I eventually took to asking them to charge it to my room immediately upon getting my food. I'm sorry but I wanna be out experiencing the city not waiting for your slow service. You'd think I should've just gone to another restaurant if I hated it so much but the hotel kinda locks you into this restaurant with a daily $35 credit that they MANDATE on you. If you think about it, that's like a daily 45 min wait time mandate lmao. Food was great, the airline chicken and the Angus beef burger were my faves, the burger was sooo juicy.

We enjoyed a nice espresso martini while Katie gave us the best service. Give katie a raise! She’s earned it

It's not mind blowing but it wasn't terrible either. Prices are higher than normal. The server was great. Everything you'd expect from a hotel lobby restaurant. You aren't paying for a 5 star meal, you're paying for convenience and it was definitely that.
Food was superb, the service was quite slow.

Just a standard hotel lobby restaurant but the food options were great and service was quick. Disappointing that this was the only ‘normal' restaurant tied to the Hilton Union Square for dinner.
It was okay generally, but the service was inattentive and the food a bit bland.

Definitely a diner experience
We tried the brunch buffet which is $36/person and thought that the food and service were great. The staff was hospitable, professional, and courteous, especially our server Lloyd. The food stations were neat and clean, and had a variety of breakfast foods to choose from including hot foods, salads, pastries, breads, fruit, and cereals.
We were seated by the windows looking out onto Market Street so we could see the bustling city streets that morning.
Definitely a nice place to check-out if you're staying at the hotel and want to enjoy a restful breakfast.
For being a restaurant in a hotel is pretty decent with high quality ingredients, it’s a bit overpriced for what’s is and not big menu but the staff is attentive and the atmosphere is welcoming

There are a few Hiltons that do this.
Their mac & cheese is frozen, I can't remember the brand, but they just thaw it and added some spices.
Not worth $20 by a long shot
Pretty mediocre overall. Service was attentive, yet rushed. The food was mediocre. A dry burger, average fries, clunky grilled cheese... but edible and filled the stomach after a long day of traveling. The meal was very expensive, but that is probably expected for a hotel resturant in San Fran. $125 for two people, before tip. If we could give 5-stars for the carrot cake alone we would, at least we left on a good note.
I stayed at Park 55 and tried a number of nearby restaurants. I have to say, my favorite was Cable 55 in the Park 55 hotel. Go see them for a five star experience!
The food is fine, I just thought the duck tacos could have had a LOT more flavor and the yucca fried were meh. Also it had no real ambience - but it's a restaurant in the lobby of the hotel, so that's to be expected.
The server and manager helped us organize a meetup for 30+ people. We had a great service and Sean, the manager made it super convenient for us. The server was super generous and helpful with a good smile on his face.
