Small store with general food, coffee, bagel, tourist items, and the price was good for a bagel being made for you. I may go in and try their coffee and see what other stuff they have. The service was fair and I notice she washed her hands before preparing food was a plus.

Stopped in and got a pastrami sandwich. The person made it with such care I was happy to wait a few minutes while she prepared it. A yummy sandwich for my day walking around the area! Seemed to be a family-run business too, which I’m always happy to support.

Waiting for a cable car here.

This place definitely can step it up as a corner market but the guy behind the counter offered coffee to someone who appeared to really need it. His gesture of kindness is so needed on the streets.

It was ok but nothing special.

I think a lot of the reviews are confused, this is the Cable Car Corner not the attraction. Anyways, the mocha here is pretty good.

This was the first time I visited this Cable Car Corner shop. I am deeply impressed by how they handled their many customers on time as they promised.

I've seen this corner store go really down hill, but the neighborhood doesn't really have a bodega unless you walk up the hill. I went in to buy some things and tried to pay with a $20 from the 90's, but they refused to accept it as tender which was bizarre. You would think if cash was only taken from the last decade, they would have an anti-counterfeit pen... To travelers I recommend just going to the Gallery Cafe for food and drink (Mason and Washington) and for a bodega with a wider selection, go to the corner store at Taylor and Clay.
I would never ever do this again. 1 hour wait . At the other end we are at 2 hours in line and counting. They keep sending off cars with few or no one on board not letting us on. Total BS

I walk by this place all the time, and I never see it open. I don't know what their hours are, but it totally fails as a convenient place for the community.
