Good was not good, packaged or frozen guac. Nothing was fresh. The place might have a good atmosphere but it was dead when we were there.

Let me start by saying the QR code does not offer everything available. I sat at my table for at least 3 minutes before I figured out we needed to use the QR code at the table. The choices on the QR code are different from what is actually available. For example, I wanted a sweet tea, and it was not offered as a "glass" option on the QR code menu, only a bottle (upsell)!

Secondly, I ordered the Cadillac Grilled Chicken Salad, which should come with corn, black beans, jicama, and pepitas. The iceberg lettuce mainly consisted of the "core" ends of the leaves. There was NO jicama to be found at all!!!! The Ancho BBQ sauce/dressing tasted more like a regular BBQ sauce; thank goodness I also ordered ranch on the side.

Lastly, the staff seems to favor men over women. I had 2 "single" men on either side of me, and the staff consistently checked on them. I was only acknowledged when my order was being placed on the table.

Had I not been at the airport and needed to catch my flight, I would have been asking for a manager immediately.

Cadillac is never full, but it's never empty. It's a perfect place to get food and/or drinks before going to a show at the Orpheum or the Golden Gate or Bill Graham. Service is friendly, and the drinks are strong! The food is good as well. It's on the Tenderloin/Soma border, so yes, there are people experiencing homelessness nearby, but I've been to Cadillac literally dozens of times and never felt unsafe. Perfect place for dinner before your Broadway SF show!

Last time I was there at their original location was in 1982. I had a “popper” to start things then switched to a Cadillac Margi. Nachos were outstanding as well as the service. Armando did a fantastic job being our server. Hopefully I won’t have to wait that long to return for a visit.

Love this spot. Reminds me of a much better version of Chevys. A place you come for a giant margarita, chips and tacos with friends. The service is excellent. Shout out to Guillermo for being the absolute best waiter.

I got a huge margarita for $29 which I thought was insane, but that thing was massive and I thought I'd have to be carried out the door only halfway through, and I have a pretty high tolerance for booze. 10/10

Puffy tacos and ceviche were really good, I don't usually ever want dessert but I enjoyed just hanging out there enough that we took our time there, ordered the churros which were super good.

I think the bill ended at about $109 before tip for 3 puffy tacos, chips, salsa, ceviche, 2 large margaritas and churros. Take that as you will but that seems pretty fair to me.

I'll be back again for my chips and giant margarita fix.

Used to come all the time here…after they mysteriously closed I was sad..so when they reopen I came all excited and for my surprise they DOUBLE the prices and make the portions smaller..$8 for a micro taco!!!!they don’t serve the fresh tortillas anymore,$36 margaritas and they took stuff from the menu too..we went on a Friday and was very empty..wonder why lol…now is just a matter of time so they close again …so sad.. the only good thing that still remains is Guillermo that works in there !he is amazing !!now for the greedy owner only thing I have to say is …BYE!!

They deceptively conceal their Margarita menu when you order and don't use glasses but instead use 7-11 plastic 16 ounce slurpy cups and it contains more Margarita mix than tequila and the price was $26.00. The two guest next to me were in shock their bill was $130.00 but they to ordered higher priced Margaritas but it was $60 dollar Margaritas each? therefore stay away. The Nachos cheese with chicken strips tasted like Gelitan and it was sushi chicken ? and imitation meat.

Simply the best authentic MEXICAN FOOD in the Bay Area. Staff is always frendly; and greet you with a warm smile. The Margaritas are delicious; my favorite is cucumber one, and somtimes the Jalipeno Margaritas. You have to try the PUFFY TACOS, THERE THE ONLY PLACE YOU CAN GET THESE!!!!!!!!!

*** DO NOT TRUST RESERVATIONS! ***Caught in the crosshairs? So the last review I saw was from Nov 29, 2023. Made a reservation for Dec 20, 2023. Showed up and doors were locked. Sign on door says it was closed for a private event. Saw someone inside, who looked like they were cleaning glassware. Knocked. Called. Left a message. No response. Now it looks like they are “temporarily closed.” Had my twin daughters and I wandering the streets looking for new place to eat before seeing The Lion King. Luckily we found Sam’s which is less than a block from the Orpheum. The owner(s) and manager(s) of Cadillac need to be more responsible and just do better. If they truly are closed, hope that any of their future endeavors are better managed/handled.
