Always open for a Croque Monsieur, filling but not too much! I will say I’ve had a difficult time with French Onion soup whether it taste too strong or watered down, but this makes up for all of those.
Plenty of seating available whether it be indoor or outdoor. Always enjoy their ambiance. Look forward to returning.

I had a very good salad which I enjoyed. Unfortunately my guest (who is French) said that the Coq au Vin was bland and tasteless.

Located on a very busy corner but very quiet inside food was very good and the staff very nice they didn't rush us at all and we enjoyed a long leisurely lunch.

Excellent food and great service. Classic French bistro food in a beautiful setting. A special shout out to Sergio who was an amazing server!

Had Saturday brunch here before a family wedding and absolutely loved it! The food was delicious. We tried the deviled eggs, French onion soup, and beef bourguignon, all beautifully made and full of flavor. The atmosphere feels cozy and authentically French, and the service was great.

We three were lucky to come on the last day they had the Prix Fix menu, $41 for a three course meal. A great deal. The Beef Bourguignon was very good. Mouse de chocolate fantastic. Quiet place just a few blocks from a subway station.

Such a very cool vibe, retro French style. Its a bar meets restaurant meets coffee shop meets a library. Its a perfect all in one for a Sunday Funday.

We always go to Cafe de la Press for the Croque Madame & Croque Monsieur. We've tried it other places but Cafe de la Presse is definitely the best!

It's okay. The name is French, but the food is everything you can find at other San Franciscan bistros. Nothing particularly french.

Very nice experience to be there. I'll come back for sure. In fact we came back already the following day

Food was bland, everything overcooked. Had crabcake Benedict, hollandaise sauce was slightly sour, no other flavors and very minimal. Crabcake was a little mushy and thin. Hubs got the burger, plainest driest burger ever unless you add $3 for any type of cheese. Also dry, served with ketchup. For these prices, go somewhere else. This tastes worse than diner food. French onion soup was good though. Service was very mediocre. Manager also mediocre, kept seating people in very crowded areas although a lot tables were open.

Ride, impatient service. Mediocre quality. They survive on location alone. Rather disappointing as it was once a decent spot.

A little slice of Paris in San Francisco but you can't get a view of Chinatown's Dragon Gate in Paris. The food is really good and the servers are some of the best in the city.

Wonderful time. Cafe de la Presse is celebrating 20 years. And it's consistent in great food and service. That's a restaurant succeeds.
