This is my favorite study spot, noise level low and middle eastern food choices ( tea, food, and coffee) traditional , excellent quality, and reasonably priced. I also chose to support locally owned snd operated businesses that are being lost to gentrification. This owner operated cafe is a an anchor to the community and has donated time, space and money to non- profits and activism for decades!

Such a cute cafe right by the 24th St Bart station. When we went the restaurant was nearly empty, and they have lots of seating options inside and outside. The table we ended up sitting at was actually an old manual sewing machine (with the foot pedal still intact)! I had a fruit smoothie, which was delicious and refreshing.

I've gone to so many coffee shops in the last year, I lose track of where I've gone due to the saturation, but when something unique comes my way I want to be sure to celebrate it as loudly as possible! Cafe la Boheme has one of the friendliest staffs and most welcoming seating areas I've come across. Located in the mission, this can be the perfect stop for a beer or an essential pick up for a coffee. They have plenty of snacks and menu options. I highly recommend the Cardamom ice tea and the Turkish coffee! This is definitely going to be a part of my weekly rotation! With great vibes, a kind staff, and amazing location, how could it not be??

I absolutely love this place. We used to go to church up to the street and I’ve been walking past La Boheme for over 20 years- but proud loyal customer for the last 5!

Great café with plenty of vegetarian food options and an expansive hot drink menu. The owner is super nice and seems to know the community well. Plenty of seating.

My favorite cafe in the mission. I am grateful for their cappuccinos and bagels and the kindness the owner has shown me. Not friendliness, which anyone can give--real kindness. I had only recently moved to the neighborhood and come in to the cafe a few times when I came in on a rainy day. Without me asking, the owner gave me an umbrella and told me to bring it back if I remembered, but that it was ok if I forgot. A lot of coffee shops (and businesses in general) in SF are aesthetically-pleasing but feel heartless and like you could find them in any city. La Boheme really feels like a center of the community.

1st visit. Great green chai, smooth lemon zest slices (cake?).I left my skateboard (30 years old) @ counter to take a call outside. Spaced it. Came back after call & owner asked if I was missing anything? Panic.Another customer had found skateboard leaning against the counter & handed it over. You know who you are, thanks so much.

This place was always the heartbeat of the mission. They need your support. So go drink lots of coffee there. It's very good.
