This is my favorite wine bar to read or get a little work done. The bartender is super nice and and ambience, fantastic. Get a glass, sit back and relax as you watch the cable car go by.

Cafe Meuse was such a cute wine bar, and a perfect spot to meet up for a happy hour. They have $2 off their glasses of wine between 5PM and 7PM, which is not an amazing deal, but better than you will find in most of the city. We ordered a Kir Royale and a bottle of wine which was really delicious. The server was very sweet, and split the one Kir Royale between the two of us in two separate glass which I really appreciated, and didn't expect at all. The cafe is very cute, and had some beautiful decorations for the holidays. Definitely a place I'd like to return to.

Quintessential neighborhood wine bar, in one of the best neighborhoods on the planet. Quiet, good seats on the outside. Prices are very fair; food is good. Wine selection is great. Eric hires well; Sam holds down the front of the house with ease, and all of the servers are attentive, professional, and totally down to earth. My go-to neighborhood spot in SF.

I love coming to this neighborhood wine spot. Aaron, Sam, and the crew are fun and attentive. Excellent spot for Friday eve gathering. Sometimes stop in for a glass, and sometimes, throw back a few more and stay to the end. Very positive vibes kinda place. Locals scene.

Looking for a true corner spot In SF! Look no more. The food was Devine and the staff is lovely. Only wine and beer but that's all you need. Great music too! The staff was soo pleasant as well. I will be back! Love Knob Hill

A GEM. So cozy inside, sit at the window and you can watch the cable car go by. Feels like you’re getting wine in a cozy early 2000s movie, and I mean this in the best way possible. Hyper local, zero pretentiousness, great pricing.The food is great too! I am begging you to start doing fries (curry fries and truffle fries especially!)

Easily my favorite wine spot in the city. Cafe Meuse is a intimate wine bar located right in the heart of Nob Hill. It is right next to the iconic trolley lines so it makes a great people watching spot. Service is always fast and friendly and I have never had to wait to be seated. Food: I have tried both a charcuterie board, a mac n cheese, and a rosemary creme brûlée. All items were a 5/5 and well priced. Wines: I have done both individual tastings as well as flights. There is a good selection to choose from and the staff or so nice and knowledgable in explaining everything. They are also really accommodating in swapping different wines out for something else. Overall: If you are in Nob Hill and looking for some wine, look no further. Just make your way down to Cafe Meuse.

I can't believe I haven't reviewed this perfect neighborhood gem. Excellent wine selection, tasty bites, and you really can't beat the setting. It's totally unpretentious, but also has twinkle lights and the cable cars passing by. It's the perfect spot for a date or a wine night with girlfriends.
I wanted to love this place so badly! Such a cute atmosphere but the bar tenders/waitresses were incredibly passive aggressive, rude, and extremely unprofessional. Will never be returning, this place is run by children. So disappointed, probably the most ridiculous restaurant/bar experience I’ve ever had.

Lovely neighborhood place, but they close much earlier than the website said. My friends and I were chased out this evening (door left open on cold night to "freeze us out", tables flipped over inside, lights turned off) a full 45 minutes before the stated closing time. When asked if we had over stayed our welcome/what time the bar closed, bar tended was incredibly rude. Super disappointing because we otherwise love the spot.
