Weak espresso shots, and overall poor service. Servers were unfriendly and seemed to really not want to be there. Not to mention, way overpriced for what it is. This cafe is for people who settle for mediocre drinks, nearly below average service, and who don’t mind spending the money (it’s in the mall anyways). I say save your money and get quality service from Peets Coffee under a quarter mile away from the mall if you’re looking for quality coffee beverages and a more fulfilling experience.

Pricey place, yes. But good pastries. Only negative is the service. First time at this location but more familiar with the Union Square one that has always been staffed by nice people. Server wasn't friendly and even tried to rip me off with the pricing. Did not offer any apology for the error made. Also tried to put the expensive piece of cake in some small box that wasn't going to fit till I repeatedly ask if they have a BOX. @_@ . Not sure she realizes how the presentation, packing, her service together does not match the price and the quality of the pastries sold.

Nice interior. Excellent waitress. Tasty omelette. Pretty good coffee although the doppio was more like a small long black. A bit pricy compared to competition. Pretty happy with dinner there also. Nice steak cooked perfectly.
Great service received from Lobo, the manager Manny. Very attentive service other than quality cuisine, the salads were superb! Capuccino which is Lavazza coffee prepared by Carlos. Goodnight location by Union Square!
