Cafe Broadway, located in SF Chinatown, offers incredibly fresh dim sum made in the front kitchen. Customers enjoy dishes like Crispy shrimp rice noodles roll and shrimp dumpling, although the beef chow fun was somewhat dry. The wanton noodle soup is flavorful with just the right texture. The authentic Peking duck is a must-try, with great service and generous portions. Many wish they would sell beer again. The restaurant is a clean, friendly spot with fantastic service, where staff are attentive and willing to guide customers on what to try. The food overall is excellent, including duck wraps with fresh vegetables, a variety of dumplings, shumai, rice soup, and fried rice. The soup dumplings are especially comforting, and the tender, flavorful chicken feet have the perfect kick. The dried braised chicken wings are juicy and less spicy, loved by kids, and the soufflé is light and fluffy. While service can be a bit slow at times and hot sauce is not always available, the dishes, such as the beef noodle clay pot and dim sum with shrimp stuffed bean curd skin, are flavorful and satisfying.
