Great spot to wine taste with friends & family. Chic and fresh decor. I have been to several events here: a going away party, an engagement, a dress rehearsal... and a surprise birthday. All great events. They have a cheese plate that is yummy but overall the appetizers and small plates are disappointing. Wine is the main attraction! The food is a plus if you've arrived famished. Miner Family Vineyards is a favorite. Difficult place to get to if you and your group are...
Minus a star because it doesn't stay open late on the weekends. This place is posh and is expensive. But most patrons should know this already. Chateau Montelena wine isn't cheap, period. So don't complain about the tasting prices.
The Croque Monsieur sandwich is the best sandwich I've ever had. Crusty baguette, ham, Gruyère, and tomato. When a sandwich is that good that you still love and remember it twenty years later! Tried to make it myself but haven't found the right bread or other ingredients.
