During my trip to San Fran for a developer conference, I got recommended this restaurant by a friend. Though initially doubtful, I decided to give it a go. This place was by far the culinary highlight of my entire trip.
I would *highly* recommend this restaurant to anyone who's looking for a filling, delicious lunch. This is the kind of place that you go out of your way to make a visit to.

I’m okay with turkey avocado being 17 bucks with a canned drink coming out to 20 bucks. But not an egg salad sandwich being like 15 bucks. Idc about egg prices right now. That’s dumb.
Location cramped and slightly stinky.
Needs better ventilation.
But the food is BOMB af.

Parisian exactness meets NoCal chill. The strongest espresso, the butteriest croissants. The first time I walked in it was raining out and Sun Ra was playing on the speakers. Thanks for letting me use your WiFi when I was a broke student.
We ordered an omelette and it was amazing. Very good quality and super tasty. The atmosphere is also very cozy and pleasant. A true gem in downtown San Francisco for lunch or breakfast!

It opens at 7 a.m., so it’s great for breakfast. The owner is friendly and the food is delicious. Especially the coffee is good! The food is locally homemade.
Great little place. The owner suggested a menu item that was delicious. Pastrami with an apple butter(at least I think that’s what it was). So good.

I’ve been a regular for years. Great Niçoise salad and decaf americano. Also love their soups, sandwiches and pastries.

A quiet little breakfast & lunch spot with a flair of modern European decor. Between the atmosphere, A+ service, and great food you will feel as if you stepped into a portal to France.
Moreover, this restaurant offers both indoor and outdoor seating; allowing you to take advantage of the weather.

So so good, so fresh, amazing chef. Cute little spot with 4 tables. Croquet madam was soooo delicious. Hidden gem for sure.

Reminds me of a sandwich shop you'd find in France. Very good quality meats and cheeses on both visits. Highly recommend.

Stopped in while at Moscone for a conference and the Croque Monsieur made me weak in the knees. My goodness it was buttery cheesy crunchy heaven. The blueberry smoothy was very tasty. Spotless, very cozy indoor seating with only 3 tables so I assume mostly takeout. However, if you have the time - sit down and eat the food hot, you won’t regret it.

Good options for breakfast, smoothies and coffee. I was not happy with the music but it is a detail.
