I sat there for half a day between business meetings and had a great time. The coffee is hot and good, the sandwiches are delicious and Ziyad, the Owner, is a very friendly guy! It’s a great, quiet neighborhood cafe. I hope to come back to San Fran soon to have another BLT there again.

Such a wonderful atmosphere! It felt homey and like a classic, casual cafe run by a fine gentleman. I loved the soft radio playing tunes in the back as I sat down in one of their many chairs and looked at the chalkboard menu. The service was amazing, I was welcomed in by the boss and we had a great conversation about the food! I really love the atmosphere of this place. I had seen this amazing avocado toast here on yelp and got that alongside a lox bagel. It was absolutely SUPERB! I enjoyed my meal dearly and genuinely wish that this cafe was closer to where I lived because I would certainly frequent such a cute place. The freshness and quality of the ingredients makes me crave more just thinking about it. I got to go back!

Every time that I am around this area by North Beach, Cafe Francisco has been my go-to for a quick cup of coffee. Recently though, it hasn't been that way. I've noticed that the prices for pastries are not set and I feel cheated by the owner. One time I bought a slice of carrot cake and paid roughly around $4. Today I went into the cafe and bought the same item and was charged $5.95. The lack of integrity with the prices made me less likely to visit this cafe again. It's sad because I do my best to support local businesses, but not when these instances occur.

The coffee is good, we ordered the California breakfast and the Mediterranean breakfast both were scrambled eggs with different vegetables and four slices of bread served on the same plate in a small paper bag also on the plate he put butter and jam (squares) the breakfast does not include the coffee. In total $886 with tip. The man who runs the cafeteria does everything on his own, when people join him he looks very rushed.

One of my favorite places in SF! Food and coffee are always delicious, and Ziyad welcomes everyone with a smile. He picks quality ingredients for all the food items and is passionate about the place. I had falafel sandwich this time and my boyfriend got a breakfast bagel. Both were very fast and fresh! I got mimosa too and it complimented our food choices.

This is singlehandedly the best cafe I've ever been to. Everything tastes delicious and homemade, and is well worth the wait. The owner genuinely loves working there and you can see it. If you're in the area, I cannot recommend Cafe Francisco enough.

Cute little spot. Stumbled in for a coffee and light morning eats. Bagel with lox was outstanding but the cappuccino was underwhelming. Friendly guy running the joint.

We stumbled into this cafe on our way back from a fantastic SF walking tour, and the light lunch we had here ticked all the boxes. The service was friendly and efficient, and the two tall iced coffees and ice creams we had were lovely and refreshing. We shared a Mediterranean frittata (delicious!), which came with a generous number of slices of sourdough bread with butter and jam (we didn't use the jam) so it was a very substantial and enjoyable meal for lunch, without making us feel heavy or sluggish. There is some marvellous artwork on the walls, which really adds to the decor and feels spacious and roomy throughout. Definitely worth a visit if you're in the area, the extensive menu has something for everyone!
