I’ve actually never been to a little restaurant Café that is more unwelcoming than here. There are usually 2 male and 1 female employee and they are always so bothered to take your order and make your food/drinks.
I have come here 4 times out of convenience. Each time was worse than the next. They scowl when you order food, one told me once “we typically don’t really make food if it’s not for us, but ok” then proceeded to take 25 minutes to make me a bagel when I was the only person there. I used to work in restaurants and I have no clue how these two people are still employed.
It’s just weird, I feel like I am an uninvited guest and it’s a problem that I want to order food/drinks from a cafe. Why does it feel bad to ask other people to do their job that they get paid for? I never leave reviews, but I had to share because this place gives the worst vibes you will ever have at any establishment.

If you enjoy waiting 20 minutes for a single latte while slowly roasting in a poorly ventilated sauna, this might be your spot. Two people behind the counter, barely any customers, and somehow the pace rivals molasses in winter. The latte tasted like instant coffee—bitter, flat, and utterly forgettable. Not sure what the holdup was, but efficiency clearly isn’t on the menu. Skip it unless you’ve got time to kill and low standards for caffeine.

hidden gem in the city!
Come here for the atmosphere and views. It's inside a youth hostel so don't expect speedy service, just nice vibes. Reminds me of Portland.
Milks: Whole, Almond, Oat
$5.50 for an oat latte.
Free wifi!
Pretty good cappuccino! A little hidden gem in sf for sure.

don't come here for service
Great little spot. Best egg sandwich deal in the city as far as I’m concerned…
Never again. NEVER. I used loved coming to this place at the halfway point of my morning run. Usually good coffee and great views. Today, like every other time, I stopped to get a latte. There was one customer ahead of me and I kindly waited for the barista to make her coffee and a breakfast sandwich. The barista never said a word and seemed to ignore me. I smiled and waited for her to finish cleaning up the coffee station and dishes. She then, finally, made eye contact and said firmly, “Are you going to order something? You’ve been standing there staring for 10 minutes. What is your deal?!?!”
I was being patient as she prepared the order for the customer ahead of me. Never have I been dressed down by someone I was going to pay to prepare a coffee. Disgusting.
Do not go here for coffee or food or, especially, great customer service. There was NO customer service. I thanked her for being there, smiled and walked out as her exasperated comments followed.
Also, the location does have a strange odor as well which makes me question whether the food prep area is kept sanitary.
