If you enjoy waiting 20 minutes for a single latte while slowly roasting in a poorly ventilated sauna, this might be your spot. Two people behind the counter, barely any customers, and somehow the pace rivals molasses in winter. The latte tasted like instant coffee—bitter, flat, and utterly forgettable. Not sure what the holdup was, but efficiency clearly isn’t on the menu. Skip it unless you’ve got time to kill and low standards for caffeine.
On a road trip from the UK and found this unassuming cafe as we spent our first full day in SF. Very laid back and friendly with nice music playing. We were probably older than the average visitor (by quite a bit!) but loved it! Shared the 2x2x2 breakfast and a pot of black tea. Set us up for the rest of our walk towards GG Bridge. Loved that they ask you to wash your pots. Proper plates and utensils. Too much 'throwaway' going on generally compared to the UK. Thank...
Come here for the atmosphere and views. It's inside a youth hostel so don't expect speedy service, just nice vibes. Reminds me of Portland.
