I stopped in omw home from the post office...I was craving a pastry but the savory smell was too enticing to ignore. Once the fellow at the counter (I'm thinking proprietor) told me that they bake their bread fresh daily, I was sold. I asked for a recommendation, (which, in spite of his best efforts and cheerful patience as I tried - first to pronounce - and then memorize the name of the dish, completely eludes me now) but it was their specialty; a hot sandwich on warm soft...

Amazing Mediterranean and Tunisian food, I had the Shakshuka Mergues which is lamb sausage with Eggs, tomatoes m, onions and peppers served with baked Baguette. Awesome. They also have rotisserie chicken that is not on the menu and make couscous on Sundays
