I love this place. I actually have a positive emotion when I know I am going here. I love the atmosphere and the food is just amazing. They have an upstairs balcony (that's actually open). The coffee is even decent! If you wanted to find a hidden gem, you've found it.

I came here hoping for a proper barista-quality coffee — the photos and reviews looked great, with lots of beautiful latte art. Unfortunately, that’s not what I received. I ordered a Flat White, but what I got was the largest “Flat White” (really more of a giant latte) I’ve ever seen. A Flat White is supposed to be small and strong, not three times the size and mostly milk.
On top of that, the coffee was extremely hot — so hot that I couldn’t hold the cup, even with the cardboard sleeve. It took about 15 minutes outside in the cold before it cooled enough to drink, which really affects the flavor and overall experience.
I also ordered a Caesar salad with chicken to go, but that was disappointing as well. The chicken had almost no seasoning or flavor, the dressing tasted a bit off, and instead of real parmesan there were just generic shredded cheese pieces.
Maybe if you come here without specific expectations, the experience might be fine. But based on the photos, I had a very different impression of what I would get — and unfortunately, it just didn’t match the reality.
Overall, a disappointing visit considering the expectations set by the pictures and reviews.

Lack of respect for people’s time. Shop empty and yet had to wait about 20 minutes for a coffee and an egg wrap. Asked coffee to go but was given a cup so had to pour it myself.

Breakfast burritos were tasty and well worth it; coffee was probably the worst I've ever had. Stick to the food.

Stopped by today for a quick coffee and some donuts and happy I did so! Mocha was delicious and their donuts are amazing. Can’t wait to come back and try other flavours and menu items!

Really friendly and warm staff. Cappuccino tasted a tiny bit burnt / bitter. A slightly lighter roast would probably solve it. The breakfast burrito didn’t have much flavor - the potatoes were mushy, the sausage was bland, and the onions and tomatoes (probably underripe beefsteak; cherry tomatoes would be better) were undercooked: it was altogether fine, but not memorable. The space itself is dated but in a charming Euro way that one doesn’t often find in SF.
