This place is underrated! Great coffee and sandwiches and all for a very fair price. Don’t let the area or exterior deter you, this place is great.

This place is an OG place. It has been here for god knows how long. If you’re coming to SF and want to support a mom&pop/ family owned banh mi place, you come here. It is a classic banh mi style. My husband got the chicken and I got the tofu. I highly recommend trying this place.
Just like any sandwich, you can add or edit it, so just let the owner know if you don’t like something on it.

This place is nearby. Sometimes I go for a doughnut and other times for a banh mi, but I am never disappointed. The food is always delicious and the staff person / owner is always super efficient but still very kind. No frills, just what you want.

Great Bahn Mi. Great croissants. Good smoothies. Great staff/owner.
The chicken in the Vietnamese sandwich is flavourful, juicy, and accompanied with delicious carrots, cilantro, jalapeno, and pickled onion. Delicious.
Whenever I'm in SF, I'm a regular here!

I had a fabulous cup of coffee with a wonderful homemade croissant. Awesome, just what the doctor ordered.

Our favorite local establishment! The banh mis are my favorite in town and the house-baked sweets and empanadas are top notch. The owner has always been so friendly to us, always welcoming us with a "hello my friends"!

For $8.50, these Banh Mi are hard to beat anywhere in town. Pretty fast prep too given Caffe Moda is a one-woman show! My friends who live in the area come here twice a week or more.

What a good little spot! It was empty when we stopped in, but the woman working there was super friendly and welcoming. I got a ham, egg, and cheese croissant, my partner got some sausage and egg empanadas and a donut, and we both enjoyed some Vietnamese iced coffee - everything was delicious and well-priced, and it came out lightning fast. I'd happily visit again!

Sweet staff. A bit sketch location and reasonably pricey given the location ( got the ham egg cheese bagel sandwich. It was just right. Hit
