When there’s a portrait of Nina Simone on the wall, that’s all you need to know, the foods gonna be amazing, and it was. Everything was delicious and the Socca was exceptional. What I loved most is that its the kind of place friends come to enjoy each other.

Fantastic. Great menu, great food, great presentation, reasonable prices for this level of thoughtful farm to table bursting with nice flavors and interesting combinations. Chef is passionate about his supply chain and great value to his guests: witness the pasture raised chicken wings, which he added to the menu to help get more $$ to his organic poultry grower, for a win win as the guests love “the delicious taste of chickens eating bugs and worms while moving around on a free range”! Bustling but very reasonable noise and easy to enjoy our conversation. Great!

This place rocks. Amazing fresh food and a delightful owner. It’s clear how thoughtful they were with every inch of the menu and dining room. One of my favorite meals in San Francisco; get the chicken wings.

Health forward, quality ingredients, exciting menu. I took my New York friends here and they said it was the best meal they've had in months, and if they had this in New York they'd go every week.

Steak way overcooked and cold. I potatoes it came with were hard as rocks. If wasn't with new company I'd have sent back. Disappointing...have always loved everything here.

Have been coming to Camino Alto since it opened in late 2021, mostly for lunch and occasionally for dinner. The food is fresh and tasty, prepared with quality ingredients - and the service have been consistently good.It ’s unassuming from the street, with an interior that is clean, modern and minimalist.Check it out!

The best breakfast/brunch I’ve had. This place is a complete gem. The decor and ambiance are extremely welcoming and in a style I love!!! The staff was super helpful and took the time to connect. The food was impeccable - total utter quality ingredients. Would eat these breakfast tacos as a final meal . I don’t eat meat so I substituted any meat products for their bday veggies and just look at the photo. Eat here, everyone should eat this well every day in an ideal world.

Never write reviews but Camino Alto is deserving of 5-star paise. The food is amazing (have loved each unique dish in our last couple visits - especially the ceviche & the chicken) and the staff exceptionally welcoming. It’s not just a neighborhood favorite, but a city favorite. Will absolutely be going back & soon!Dietary restrictions: Gluten free- friend restaurant and were cognizant to warn of dairy & nut dishes.
