Missed the mark. Needs some fine tuning. We got the guacamole to share. Tasty, but skimpy portion. Same for the lamb chops. I had it as my entree and got only 3 small chops. Lamb chops tend to be tiny. Most places give you four or five. Mine were quite good, but could have used more salt and pepper. Raise your prices a little so you can afford to give more generous servings. The sides that'll came with my entree were delicious. Had two cocktails. One was perfect, one was too sweet. Very nice atmosphere, just needs more attention to detail and slightly larger portions.

This is the second time we’ve been here and been absolutely obsessed with the food and drinks. Everything is amazing. We live 2 blocks away and our only complaint is that we havent discovered this restaurant until recently. I will definitely bring all my visitors

Amazing restaurant! The food is outstanding and the amount of care they put into everything (including the service) is so clear and rare these days. The lamb chops are fantastic. Definitely get a few small plates to try as well. Our server was so lovely. He gave us a ton of information on both the food and wines. I got to sample a few wines before deciding and they were excellent. I love that they offer half glasses, makes it easier to try a variety. Go here and tell your friends about this neighborhood gem too! ♥️

Best place for Mexican restaurants, definitely number 1. Everything from the chips to the salsa were spot on. This place exceeded my expectations beyond what a person can comprehend. I’d definitely recommend the churros and the fried pork skin tacos that really just hit you like no other dish could. This place is a 2 out of 2 and would highly recommend it to everyone that enjoys food.

We went for New Year's dinner and my family and I are really satisfied.The atmosphere is warm and charm. The food is really, really good. All dishes were original and with excellent flavor.Drinks were delicious, and the service was beyond kind and efficient!I will definitely come back and I totally will recommend going to this place!

It’s nothing short of a treat to come here and enjoy tasty regional specialties from the Yucatan, tasty platos pequenos, deliciously, complex entrees and the churros, oh, the churros!Did I mention the wine? If I’m not mistaken, Cantina Los Mayas offers only wines from Mexico (though they will be offering up specialty, Southern Mexican cocktails in early 2024). Juve, one of the owners, is so cool, incredibly hard working and super knowledgeable about our lesser known wine producer to the south. He knows his Mexican wines (and wine in general) and his support for and pride in small wine producers and farms in Mexico is admirable.In a town that features Mexican food around every corner, Cantina Los Mayas is a breath of fresh air! There are cheaper options but if you are looking for a truly authentic, unpretentious experience, this place is impossible to beat!

Soooo goood! Authentic and creative Latin cuisine, great for families or a date night. HIGHLY recommend the lamb chops, crab tostones and vegan jicama tacos, especially if you like tajin! Servers treat you like family. Wish I could eat here everyday.

Went for the first time and will absolutely be back! We asked for a wine tasting (2 people) and we shared a flight of whites and a flight of reds - they even chose the wines to suite our preferences. We also got the sopes for a snacks and they were incredible. Highly recommend!
