One of the BEST places for Korean BBQ!

I always leave satisfied from here. Everything is on point. Excellent service as well.

Been here a couple times. Each time was no different from the last. A bunch of young ABGs sitting around looking pretty and talking smack at the bar instead of serving your table. Food is excellent (when it's ready). Went there when they first opened at 5pm, pork belly wasn't ready until 650pm. 10 minutes before our time was up, and they only let us order one pork belly before we left. NEVER refilled our waters. Had to ask for napkins multiple times just to receive 2 for a table of 4. Girls can't even do math.

Very spacious place with quite modern atmosphere. It has seafood options compare which is great compared to many other Korean BBQs.

Cook your own. Lots of amazing options. But you need to know what you are doing. One of the thin meats burned even faster than I could deal

Exceptional place to get something when in a rush. Their customer service is swift, pricing is fair, good vibes. I highly recommend this place

We didn't realize it was all you can eat with a 90 min time limit until we arrived, but wanted to try it out. It would be good with a group with an appetite who could eat a lot in an hour and a half, but we felt we couldn't eat enough to make it worth it. It has some appetizer type items on the menu that are prepared in the kitchen but most will need to be cooked at the table. The servers were prompt and courteous, but be prepared to walk out with a smokey flavor on your clothes and in your hair.

The worst Korean bbq restaurant I have been to. The restaurant was very smoky. Service was horrible and slow, servers were so rude. The quality of the meats was not good either.

Excellent quality. Attentive staff. We really wanted kbbq and Carbon Grill did not disappoint. The meats were all excellent quality. Everything cooked to a delicious tenderness with very good flavor. Good selection of banchan. Plentiful dish of sliced garlic, fresh perfectly textured rice wraps. That was a wonderful surprise. Rice wraps from most places are stuck together and a bit hard. Order as many sides as you want. Order the meats in flights of 4. Everything, except the string bean sides and tofu stew, were delicious. String beans were, well.. stringy and too chewy. Tofu stew was tomatoey (like tomato soup and the pork belly a bit tuff). The cumin lamb, kalbi and steamed eggs were especially tasty. That green dip. Wow. Really good. Servers were very attentive. Taking quality, service and choices into account, the price is reasonable.

Definitely a little different from your standard KBBQ spot. The first thing you'll notice is the lack of banchan and an interesting creamy herb sauce. However, some items like kimchi and lettuce are side items so it's not too big of an inconvenience. The brisket here is much better than some of the other KBBQ restaurants in San Francisco, and there's some unexpected variety like various fish and sausage options. However the brisket and pork belly would be my main recommendations.I really liked how they gave a ton of rice paper per order so it didn't have to be reordered a lot. The place was also relatively smoke-free and service was good. Overall I'd recommend this place for your AYCE KBBQ fix in the Richmond, but don't expect all the traditional KBBQ items, and be prepared to try a few new things!

We are not fans. Always saw that this place was packed, but now we are unsure as to why. There wasn’t really much of seasoning or dipping sauces provided. The meat we got was super fatty in comparison to other Korean bbq places. The drinks are in a can so prepare to be charged for each one (that’s a bummer since I get thirsty when doing all you can eat). We will say that the service was decently quick though. Most likely will not return because of this overall experience.

Went to the city with friends, intending to dine elsewhere, but found this wonderful restaurant! The staff were attentive and the food was DELICIOUS!!! It is so rare that we get to see each other, so you can imagine how ecstatic we were to find a restaurant that gave us a unique, celebratory, interactive dining experience. We had so much fun! Thank you!

Great service. Fresh vegetables and wide selection. Meat was decent, but the non-marinated short ribs were entirely unseasoned, while the beef tongue was overly inundated with black pepper. However, if you get there at opening, the scallops are delicious.

A great Korean grill. They have fried eggs, order them with rice and then break the egg into the rice and mix with the meat. Delicious. Really enjoy my dinners here every time!
