As good as the pizza is, really tough to be on their side seeing the way they respond to every single negative review with defensiveness.

This restaurant is CLOSED. CLOSED. CLOSED. The website WILL NOT stop you from processing a transaction. I'm now on the phone with Grubhub (the fulfilled) and Yelp to get my refund. Going on minute 28.... Looks great in the pictures and the reviews seem legit. The women at the end of the street running the shop said it's been closed for a year or so due to a family loss. Please call to check prior to ordering. Marking as a 1 star to draw attention.

We still have to give this pizza place a five star but after the request of my son we came down to SF just for this pizza. My son from SoCal area said he was dreaming of it lol. And he is one slightly picky eater. However , it as closed all day on a Saturday. Was not listed as closed but know covid is hard on all. So look forward to them reopening. And when they do will bring plenty of business.

They accepted a seamless order while being closed. My niece, nephew and I waited 30 mins outside their door before needing to then coordinate with seamless to cancel and scramble to find something else to eat. I understand that covid makes thing hard but please have the courtesy to keep the seamless updated as you work through the unpredictable opening schedules.

So yummy. A pizza place with a full bar, fun drinks, good appetizers and, of course, very good pizza. I'v tried both the deep dish and regular and both are good. Everything tastes fresh, not too much of anything or bland. The tough part is the wait so go with people you can stand for more than 15 minutes. You can also get seating at the bar or get drinks while you wait.

large deep dish mushroom and pepperoncini. tastes just like pepperoni but it's better for you! it's the best.

The best pizza I had in USA. I’ve been living in Texas for the last three years, and I’ve found many good pizzas here, but nothing compared to this place.

It was alright but not worth going out of your way for. If in the area and in the mood for pizza.... but there are other places that are within ten minutes from here that are way better.

BEST PIZZA IN TOWN. Their deep dish is a must have. I love this pizza so much. Beats Patxi's or Zachary's any day.

Food is out of this world. I was blown away by their margarita pizza and by burrata. The place is small, waitress was super friendly and food was as fresh and delicious as it gets. This was the best pizza I has in States and better than many I had in Italy. I will make sure to be back to this place once in SF again.

Where do I begin, I came in for some pizza and the dude helping us tonight must have been on drugs. Punching something in the back of the restaurant, couldn't say anything coherently, and a total waste of $15 bucks. What kind of establishment is this? I'm with a 1 year old and my nephew. F*** this place, total waste of my time when I'm trying to enjoy my night out with my family.

This pizza is nothing but good you literally cannot go wrong with any pizza they are all delicious! We went to San Francisco for 3 days & this place was close to our hotel so we thought we would try it well it was so damn good that out of the 3 days we got 5 pizzas the first night we got crudo e Parmesan pizza & we were hooked on it! We came back the next day the minute they opened & tried Margherita pizza then returned at night we had already ate but we wanted there pizza for later & knew it would be closed so we got one to go. On the 3rd day it was our last day so we ordered 2 pizzas one to eat there & one to go on the road. Moral of the review this place will not disappoint! We tried different pizzas just can't remember all the names but the pizza is thin crust, it's the perfect crunch amazing flavoring it's like heaven in your mouth lol & its firewood cooked!

Best thin crust/woodfired pizza I've ever had HANDS DOWN! I'm normally not a fan of thin crust pizza, but I am a fan of Carmel Pizza Company's! Around the area, there is only street, metered parking. I actually really loved the decor of this place, totally different from any other pizza place I know of! COVID regulations are met. All Staff wore masks and gloves, and there was hand sanitizer placed out for guests. They had open seating available if you'd like to enjoy your pizza there. My boyfriend and I just wanted to share a simple pepperoni sausage. Unfortunately, they were out of pepperoni at that time, so we subbed it for salami. Unlike other thin crust pizzas, the bottom of ours stayed nice and crispy, not burnt at all, which made the overall bite that much better! Their crust has to be the best part. My boyfriend mentioned the touch of salt making it taste just like a pretzel. SO GOOD! I literally want more as I'm writing this. We were the only ones eating there at the time. It was crazy to hear so many people walk in, and then walk out mentioning, "it's too expensive." As we were stuffing our faces, we were literally laughing at everyone who said that because it's actually average pricing for woodfired pizza. Even if it were a little on the higher end to some for pizza, you really taste the difference in quality comparing to other pizzas. Next time, I'm interested in actually trying one of their menu selections! If you're craving pizza, and in the City, COME HERE!
