I recently hosted a family celebration in the back patio and everyone raved about the food, cocktails and ambiance. The service was on point given it was a bit crowded for a Sunday afternoon.
We ordered the fish & chips, tomato soup w/grilled cheese sandwich, onion soup, ceviche, and fish tacos - all delicious and reasonably priced. My 4-year old niece danced to her heart's content to Nirvana and other tracks. It's a hidden gem that offers a complete package and worth the trip.

As a restaurant, they could do better at enforcing health code: Pets are pets, service animals aren’t. Learn the difference. Stop letting “comfort animals” ruin the atmosphere on the patio by barking or peeing on shoes.

Had a great time, around a few drinks with friends. It is unfortunate that the beer garden area backs on a dilapidated lot. The thin wall is not enough to contain the rather unpleasant smell of what seems to be used as a public urinal and smoking point.

Celebrated my friend's birthday here and she was smart to book us into their private outdoor cabana for the night (at least until their patio closed at midnight and we retreated inside).
We loved our experience hanging out inside the cabana. Our server was attentive in getting our drink orders, and there is a great selection of spirits, beer, and wine to choose from for the night. The included seating as well sa table board games like Jenga really allowed us to feel comfortable and enjoy the celebrations.
There are two single-stall gender inclusive bathrooms inside which is a win, but the long lines at night are never a fun time.

We decided to head over to Casements for a quick drink after chilling in Mission Dolores Park. While we were intrigued by what seemed like a cool ambiance and the allure of the back patio, we were nonplussed by the service as we walked in. While there was a couple drinking at the bar and a server running food out to the patio, neither the server nor the bartender greeted us as we stood waiting, even after the bartender looked up and saw us, and continued to chat with the couple at the bar. Having worked in food service, I understand when staff are busy, but it was off putting to not even be greeted and we were about to leave before we were finally greeted.
I got the Pea's for Bee's cocktail while my partner got the Belfast Coffee. The back patio was definitely the star of the show, which had a really cool vibe and would be a great place to drink a beer and hang out. The drinks were not bad but did not particularly stand out. That said, I would definitely come back here on a hot day to get a beer and hang out on the back patio.
"Less busy than usual" but sat for 10m without service. Left before the bartender even greeted us, which is unfortunate as 2 colleagues recommended me this place. Maybe I will try again in the future, but not the close future.
