Very friendly people and extremely considerate of the neighborhood
Disgusting and dissatisfied. Spend $5 on a basic bagel with cream cheese. The guy decides to make my bagel with the same glove he used to take money at the register. No washing hands or new glove. His other hand was bare and unwashed and used it to grab my bagel multiple times while looking right at me, as if he was hoping I wouldn’t notice. Bagel in the trash can, waste of time and money. Zero stars for uncleanliness!
Delicious coffee. Go here!
Good coffee, plenty of room to hang out.
Clean open and bright with great breakfast omelets and steel cut oatmeal. All fresh made. Free WiFi as well
The name may be incorrect. When I visited, it was called Urbean. Fantastic coffee and tea and a wonderful space to enjoy it in.
My friend ate here (Urbean) and almost swallowed a metal wire twist tie in her breakfast burrito. Staff offered no apology and no refund/new burrito.
I've been coming here for years with my writing group. They have always been warm and kind. And their breakfast sandwiches are the best!
Meh it's kinda gross, the service was quick and kind but they asked too many questions about my salad, we stopped in cause the place next door was closed.... It's just kinda a cheap too much dressing on your salad kinda place....
It seems like Celtic cafe rebranded to Urbean. I still saw a Celtic menu listed on the outside, but the barista and the sign inside said "Urbean"
Restaurantji Recommends
Celtics, or Urbean, or whatever they're calling themselves now, is a delightful coffee oasis just off the horror show that UN Plaza has become. The space is HUGE, the tables are comfy, there's even a couch and a big TV. You can go there, but don't tell anyone else; let's just keep it for us!
This cafe is awesome! It has literally everything you can ask for. Impeccable service, a varied menu priced fairly and good Internet connection. I love their coffee and pastries, but they have just as good sandwiches and brews on tap. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a place to grab a bite or simply hangout and catch up on some work/studying.
This is my favourite neighborhood coffee house. Love their Irish Reuben. It's a,good size place but with the cozy couches it's just charming. I've been going here for years.
The barista was very accommodating with us when they ran out of a few ingredients by offering us another sandwich as a replacement. He even cut our sandwiches evenly between the three of us so we could sample each without the mess. Will come back again soon!
