Incredible flavors and a lovely, cozy dining experience. We felt so well taken care of by Tricia and our sushi chef and they made celebrating our anniversary really memorable. The unique flavor combinations and quality of the fish were so good. Some of our favorites from the oki: the ora king salmon, the sea bream, the otoro and the sashimi salad with the shiso flowers. The chef explained each course and paced our meal so we never felt rushed. The sake selection is awesome as well with really unique and different flavors like the takacho "regal hawk" that would be great on its own for sipping and the very plummy ume suppai. Next time I might pick the chisai and try more supplements. We left feeling comfortably full and satisfied.

I am very lucky to live within walking distance to this great omakase restaurant. Been there four times and it never disappoints. Thank you for being a neighborhood gem.

Sat at the sushi bar and did the oki tasting menu. Highly recommend it! The quality of the sashimi is amazing, each bite was crafted to perfection. Also did the premium saki.

The best omakase I’ve had - much better than Robin which gets a lot of hype. It’s small and cozy, and eating at the bar was a great experience. Such unique flavors!

My buddy and I stopped by here right after we landed at SFO. We were looking for a late night restaurant and this place took reservations until 9:45pm. They close when the last customers are out. This is a typical Japanese sushi spot in the sense that it’s really small with limited seating. The ambiance was nice inside, very different than the exterior of the establishment. The service here was phenomenal. Our sushi chef was very knowledgeable and friendly. We elected to do the Omakase, chef’s choice. I’ll say everything the chef offered was amazing. I honestly didn’t have one bad piece of sushi. The amount of detail involved with each bite was clearly seen. While I can’t repeat all of the sushi that was crafted for us, I will share some photos.Lastly, the desert was really good. I believe it was ginger ice cream and a taiyaki. I highly recommend this place. I will be back!

Dietary restrictions: Not a kid friendly place (unless your kid is adventurous- and even then they can do the omakase without wasabi) but they can work with most allergies and restrictions- the Yasai (vegetarian) can easily be made Vegan.

The most delicious omakase experience! If you are looking for a traditional take with modern influences this is the best place to try it!

This place isn't your usual omakase - they jazz it up with different sauces, making it a fun and tasty experiment. My favorite had to be the otoro with truffle soy sauce. The mix of flavors was fantastic, and each bite was a flavorful surprise that made the meal super

Very good. Worth the price although the location and atmosphere need to better for me to give it five stars. Still absolutely worth a visit and a great overall experience.

Sushi is top notch. The initial starter tuna sashimi was ok.. but the oyster and nigiri courses were amazing. The service was great and friendly. The ambience was ok.. more like a casual cafe vs a traditional omakase experience which is a bit more formal and zen :)

Very decent Omakase in the Mission. Some pieces were very good, some were okay. They do have nice flights of Sake that I haven't found anywhere.
