The food is great but 2x now I’ve ordered delivery and both times instead of snow peas chicken they gave me sweet-and-sour pork. These two things are nothing alike. They don’t look alike they don’t taste alike. I can’t eat sugar so I cannot eat sweet-and-sour pork or any sweet-and-sour dish. I will never order from Chang’s again. Who doesn’t know the difference between Snow pea chicken and sweet-and-sour pork???

Incredibly nice and friendly host, would always come back. Very great food, no reason to wait across the street in line! I love this and so did my wife and kids
This has become my favorite Chinese restaurant in San Francisco. Their salt and pepper wings are superior to the ones across the street and the rest of the menu is fire too. Some favorites are old school SF Cantonese standards like Westlake beef soup, honey walnut prawns, and the mushrooms with egg tofu.

We ate here for the first time. It was very good. The Salt& Pepper Halibut was very good. Light and large pieces of fish. The Dried Fried Chicken Wings were very good also. (They are different from across the street, so don't expect the exact same. These wings hold their own.)
Service was friendly. Place was basic, but clean! I would absolutely eat here again, even if the line was short at San Tung!

I'd like to give them 6 stars. Great, friendly service with a few jokes mixed in. The food was outstanding. Fresh, plentiful and cheap by SF standards. Loved the Salt and pepper shrimp and giant seasame balls. The won ton soup was the bomb.com!

Delicious meal with generous portions. Really love the salted fish dishes which reminds me of childhood home cooked meals. There’s a ton of options on the menu and dessert as well, and great value for the flavor and portion. I frequently return. Thanks Changs Kitchen

Ambience isn’t great but the food is excellent — especially the dry fried chicken wings which are on par with San Tung across the street. Friendly service. Would strongly recommend take-out instead of dining in.
No manners as well s disrespect

Excellent food. Why wait in a super long line at San Tungs across the street when u can walk right in at Changs. Personable service, not at all crowded. Moo shoo, halibut salt and pepper, Mongolian beef, green beans with minced pork and some noodle dish were all tasty and delicious. Will definitely come back.

We’ve been there twice in the last few months and it was excellent each time. The service was great. The servers were friendly. The food was tasty and fresh with all fresh ingredients. Portions are large. The atmosphere was clean, but no upscale feel. You go there for the food, not the aesthetics. And best of all there was no wait to get in on either of our visits. You should definitely give this place a try. They seem to do a brisk takeout business also.
