Everything that we ordered did not disappoint. You can tell that everything here is very intentional. From the wallpaper, the plants, the cocktails, the napkins, the dishes…all of it connected so well. Very quirky wallpaper in the bathrooms too. The salad itself was all I really needed. And the chefs behind the chef’s counter were so focused on all the details. Whoever was in charge of the music did not disappoint either. Good job Che Fico!
Really great Italian food that is, honestly, pretty reasonably priced. I had the tagliatelle - it was one of the better dishes of pasta I have had.
We held our wedding reception at Che Fico, and it was absolutely perfect. From start to finish, everything was so easy to plan—the team made the whole process smooth and stress-free.
The food and drinks were incredible—our guests couldn’t stop talking about how delicious everything was. The service was equally impressive: professional, attentive, and friendly.
One of the things that made this venue so special is how beautiful the space is on its own. We didn’t need to add much in terms of decor—it already had such a warm, elegant atmosphere that it felt ready for a celebration as-is.

The service was outstanding - timing for the appetizers to pasta to the main course was perfect. We had the whole chicken for our main course and it was outstanding. We started with the hand-pulled mozzarella and it may have been the best I have ever had in the US. Both pasta dishes were phenomenal and the broccoli was out of this world. Must visit kind of place.
PHENOMENAL! We got the focaccia, giardiniera, squid ink pasta and gnocchi. Every bite was delicious and perfect. Thank you for a wonderful evening!
The service left a lot to be desired. We arrived 5 minutes before our reservation and escorted to the bar to wait until out table was ready. The were several empty 2 seater tables, so it was a bit confusing how why this would be. 15 minutes go by, I inquire about our table, to which the host says with surprise "Oh it's ready now." Another 10 minutes go buy before we are served water and greeted by our server. Although the food was relatively timely, many of the nuances we had share with the waiter were completely forgotten about. My sister doesn't eat pork, so we order the little gem salad with no meet. It still arrive to the the table again with salami. We had to flag another waiter down and send it back to the kitchen.
The pastas were very tasty, the antipasta left something to be desired. But the ambience is great and the service was friendly. Would return!
Creative & delicious! Service is always helpful, knowledgeable and attentive. Our waitress managed the ordering process & then a ballet of servers managed delivery to the table, it was all very impressive! They made it fun!
Always the best restaurant. Love this place. The host at the front, the MGR, our server all excellent.

Consistent, delicious, and beautiful experience. My neighborhood gem! Had my best friend from Arizona up for weekend, who was looking forward to returning to what he considers one of the best restaurants in SF, as do I....we sat at the Counter which is great as you really get to see the culinary team creating the dishes. It's so easy to write so positively about Che Fico . Given the challenges facing the restaurant business in San Francisco, even the spirit of the room defies that. The staff from arrival to departure is super friendly and attentive, and reliably cares about what they are doing: the evening runs like a well oiled machine, and we were graced with our server Brian who is just great at who he is and what he does. The food is just beautiful: to look at, and to eat. We had a spectacular Cicoria Cesare, a robust take on a Caesar salad with chicories and anchovies galore, a cold carrot dish with citrus buttermilk and pistachios, and perhaps my current favorite Carne Cruda, which is a raw sirloin with aioli and black truffle and Parmesan that you stuff into delicious small rolls. Simple and spectacular...finished with delicious seasonal asparagus and a delicate gnocchi with an asparagus pesto....Eat at Che Fico now and forever, Amen!
Such an exceptional place on every level. Che Fico NEVER disappoints. The food was incredible, our server was engaging, attentive and professional without being intrusive. It's a lauded restaurant for a reason and lives up to the acclaim. It's always a special evening. Thank you for the pre-birthday dessert for my wife and the replacement glass of wine when she accidentally/clumsily knocked over her first glass. :-)
Ahhhh the pizzzzzaa and the pasta so delicious. They had a seasonal pasta which was such a bright and delicate flavor with corn and mushrooms. HUGE fan. The suppli brought me back to nights in Rome sipping natty wine with my friends. I normally never order pineapple on pizza but my friends wanted it so I gave a try and was super surprised at how delicious it was!

Excellent meal, especially the Suppli (fried risotto), the gnocchi with truffles, and the tiramisu. Service was prompt, quick, and unfussy. The restaurant was loud and boisterous. Everything we ordered was on the richer/cheesier/buttery side. Make sure to order some high acid wine to wash everything down.
