Made reservations for brunch days ahead. Arrived a few minutes early and was seated immediately. The bathroom was nice and clean. The host was welcoming. The person who seated my party was communicative. Megan, the waitress, was very intuitive. I love how Megan inquired about dietary restrictions before the order was placed. Megan was able to highlight each section of the menu, clearly and succinctly. Tried the Prima Felicita, melon mimosa (the daily acqua fresca), TOAST FRANCESE, Bistecca E Uova, and blueberry focaccia. Everything thing was FULFILLING! love how the Toast Francese (French toast) was a hybrid of french toast and bread pudding; it had a light custard feel to it yet still flaky. The food was served at a reasonable time. Had the opportunity of speaking with the manager, Jennifer. The entire staff was very engaging and delightful. I like how the staff collaborated seamlessly with each other. Excellent first impression. The manager even gave my party a Brutti Ma Buoni to go and it was delicious. Excited to try the dinner menu next time. The ambiance was brunch approiate and fitting for an Italian restaurant. It was an enjoyable experience from start to finish. No hiccups or issues.

Just received our first delivery of Che Fico Alimentari - Pasta at Home. Was looking forward to it. As it turns out, a massive disappointment. The cost: $75 plus a $15 delivery fee. The goods: a bag of children’s pasta (fusilli), a jar of sun dried tomatoes, a jar of pesto, two chocolate bars, some bread crumbs and an airline package of walnuts. What a colossal joke. The recipe looks inedible — it’s just not the 80s any more. The actual cost of the mystery box appears to be about $16. If you’re at all tempted by this, do not fall for the restaurant’s reputation. This is one of those figs that will likely rot on the branch.

I highly recommend the place, high quality food, very kind service to all the Israelis in the area, come and celebrate, it's ours, all the anti-Semites are reacting to it here, don't comment on it
Highly recommend the pizzas and pastas and especially the focaccia
The tastiest you can with a promise

Put the real prices on the menu. Customers want to know what they’re ordering.

Food is okay, but the 20% "service charge" that isn't a tip is ridiculous. Just put the full price on the menu instead of trying to trick customers.

So sad the last day of dining on site is tomorrow. I will come back in for takeout pizza but I'm so glad I got to enjoy the pasta dishes while I could. Thank you for so many memorable dining moments including during pandemic!

Alimentari has always been our neighborhood place - where we invariably go on a Friday night. We were so sad to hear they would be closing, although certainly understand the challenges being faced by the restaurant industry. We've been staunch supporters from the beginning, but our love really grew during Covid when owners D. Nayfeld and M. Brewer worked to not only pivot in concept, but also staunchly support the livelihood of their staff. They're always pushing the boundaries of what's possible and we're excited to see what the next evolution will be... The atmosphere is warm and welcoming and we've always felt like good friends or family - never just a cover. The staff is kind, accommodating and knowledgeable. The food is superb - no matter what you order. Our favorites are the focaccia (one day we'll figure out the hydration on that bad boy!), salumi, insalata tritata, cacio e pepe and funghi pizza, but honestly everything we've tried (and that's almost the entire menu) is just delicious. We typically over-order, just so we can have leftovers. Get there before Thursday if you can!

Overpriced mediocre food with pretentious service. Even with the lowering of the extra fees this place if wildly overpriced. No wonder they are closing. The owners needs a huge dose of humility.

An excellent dining experience as usual! I have been to Che Fico Alimentari many times, and it's great each time. The food is amazing, the people working there are excellent, and the restaurant is just all around spectacular. I have and would recommend. - Robert

We were outside so maybe noise was more than otherwise. Food was delicious - pizza especially. A tad expensive for what you got though. Wine list was typical SF ambitious (nothing under $60) when considering you are essentially eating Italian tapas.

Excellent tagliatelle bolognese, the pineapple pizza with gypsy peppers is superb (ask for light crust). The tiramisu is a work of art! Best I ever tasted. Top notch service, love this place; A+++
