Great deals and everything we tried was delicious. It was cash only but that’s okay.

employer behavior is very rude I suggest anybody don't go there 👿👿
Incredibly affordable Chinese bakery - standouts are cream bun, pineapple custard bun, curry chicken bun, roast pork bun, and black sesame bun. The mango and fruit full size cake is also delicious - really good frosting, not too sweet, great price. Our friends love Cherry Blossom and ask for it by name.
$4.40 for 2 big buns. Fresh, warm and soft
I sadly didn't have the time to spend too much time, and only had one item a Fried Pork Scallion Bun on that trip in December 2024. However it was a very tasty and satisfying little bun with a flavor with the sesame, scallion and pork with a nice doughy texture. Employees were very alert to know what you'd like to order in terms of delivery time.
For first time visitors please remember they are cash only ahead of time before visiting, but they are priced pretty reasonable for a bakery in SF. I would give a higher score had I had an extended stay.
i was looking for places that were operational on christmas day, and this place came in clutch. bonus points just for being open lol.
got the pineapple bun, the ham and cheese one, and a bbq pork bun- all p solid.
cash only establishment. small space, no seats. the ladies working on the day were moving the line quickly.
10/10 would go again!
We ordered a variety of pastries from this bakery through a food delivery service, and everything exceeded our expectations! While we can't comment on the in-store experience or service, the quality of the pastries was fantastic. Each one was light, airy, and delicious—so good that we ended up eating more than we planned! The best part? We woke up the next morning feeling great and light. Definitely recommend for anyone looking for a delightful pastry experience without the loads of sugar and fat in conventional bakeries! 😊

Bought cake samples from three different places before ordering a birthday cake from here. The small cake I tried here was actually a mouse with just a thin layer of very moist cake on the bottom and I was concerned that it wouldn't be cake-like enough for the recipient. I asked the counter lady if they could add another layer of cake (cake + mouse + cake + mouse) and she had to check with someone and then agreed to do it.
Picked up the cake and it looked great. The recipient and other party members loved it! Light, moist, and delicious.
Been here a few times and their service is super good. Everyone so nice. This is my go to bakery.

Who needs steamed buns when the variety of baked buns here simply rock. Whether for a quick breakfast or after school snack you will leave satisfied and relaxed. Very world cafe feel when you hang out and dine in. Buy a box to bring to work, school, or a friend's and receive deserved ooos and ahhs. Cash only! Highly recommend.

The flaky pastries were good. The fluffy baked buns (I got pork, and black sesame) were a little soggy/doughy in the middle but that might be because it was the end of the day. The varieties of pastries was great.
I've only ordered via DoorDash recently, but the quality of their food and packaging is superior. Highly recommend the egg tarts and baked pork buns.

At the end of the wedding, sometimes you need just one more little savory treat. We’ve seen a lot of different late night snacks at weddings over the years, but we wanted to give a nod to the bride’s heritage and to the cuisine of the Bay Area. What could be a better easy late night snack for this than bao?! Everyone loves char siu bao, and we love Cherry Blossom Bakery. We’ve stopped in for fresh treats so many times, so we thought of them immediately for our wedding late night snacks. They were easy to work with and made us a batch fresh for our wedding - we had one of the groom’s step brothers pick them up from Cherry Blossom Bakery on wedding day and they were perfect pork buns. They disappeared from the late night snack table almost instantly when they were put out for guests.

This place is fantastic! So legit. Fresh, delicious- and insanely inexpensive! Highly recommend- make sure you try the chocolate/ mango mousses and the egg custard tarts (they were still warm when I ate mine!)
