Very interesting place with good food, a unique setting and rather relaxed servers. Sone of the dishes like soup dumplings and fried rice with pork are outstanding with others not so Much so. Service is a bit hap hazard but good. Overall and they’re very helpful. The restaurant has a 20 pct service charge and another 5 pct required miscellaneous charge but prices overall are good. Located in Chinatown it boasts a large store of dining items gur sake, a wide choice of seating at tables, prep bars or outside and some funky music. We loved it
Took forever for the service to bring add ons we requested. Server was very nice though. The food on the other hand was not good. Especially for the prices/target audience. The chicken and dumplings were very bland. Def never coming back and wouldn't recommend. I will admit the inside did look unique/different (in a good way). When i got there i was excited as the environment is nice but food was so bad
Peking Duck served in a folded pastry with slivered zucchini and leek was a disappointment. I prefer it the traditional way.
Delicious dumplings and more. Everything was delicious, swift service, good recs (said we could order less and they were right), and fun restaurant.
Amazing place for larger groups! Wonderful food and pretty good wine list (kudos to sommelier for putting a great and affordable cab franc from Paso Robles on the list!). Ambience a little rowdy/loud, but still okay for such a large restaurant.
We had a great dinner here and were really impressed from the moment we walked in. The restaurant is beautifully designed, and the open kitchens make it fun to watch the chefs working—it adds a lot of energy to the room. The vibe is lively, with lots of big groups enjoying themselves, but it still feels comfortable. The food was delicious across the board. It's Chinese and Asian flavors with a twist, creative without drifting too far from the flavors we know and love. A few of us have lived in China and Taiwan, and we all agreed the dishes were spot-on while still offering something fresh. I've actually dined at Chef Chen's Roosevelt Prime Steakhouse in Shanghai before, and I remember him telling us at the table that he was about to open a restaurant in San Francisco. It's wonderful to see that vision become something so beautiful here. Service was also genuinely good—warm, friendly, and efficient. Our guests from Miami loved the whole experience. Highlights from our table: the Sheng Jian Bao, Summer Peking Duck Salad (everyone agreed this was the #1 dish of the night), Yangzhou Fried Rice, Dungeness Crab & Shrimp Spring Handrolls, shrimp & scallop Shumai, Mango Shaved Ice, Carrot Cake, and the Sake flight. Overall, a fun, flavorful meal and a place we'd definitely come back to.
Fantastic time, food was amazing, loved the vibe, table was spacious and easy to pass the plates around. Will definitely come back many more times!
Delicious meal, super great service, will gladly return with friends and family. SUPER LOUD
Spectacular from beginning to end... We sat right near the kitchen, so it was a little louder than the front room right on Broadway... Look forward to this restaurant every time I go.
TLDR: decent food but for the price, it feels a bit too expensive for what we got.
The roast pork was my favorite part, having nice and crunchy skin without being too crispy. The pork wasn’t too fatty as well. The pecking duck was a miss for me, the thick breading overpowered the duck. The fried bao I wish there was more soup inside. The short rib was good though it was a bit too charred. All in all, most of the food was decent but with the price being higher than other spots, I expected more

We went before a show for my Wife's birthday. We had a great time and the food was excellent. One of the guest was vegan and they were very accommodating. Will definitely go back.
Amazing food. #97 out of 5000 reviews. It's massive in here along with a market. Food is cooked fresh we had the bruslle sprouts dim some and a big fat chow mein. We'll worth a visit if ever in san fransico.
Spectacular food in amazing food amazing ambience amazing service staff everything was super A+
The food was delicious, our favourite was the side duck, SO GOOD! I am not giving them 5 stars because we booked for 8pm and they made us wait outside for almost 20 minutes before getting our table and they brought all the plates that we ordered at the same time, so by the time we could finish everything part of the food was cold unfortunately. I recommend not ordering all at once. Besides that, great restaurant!

It was a pretty disappointing experience. The decibel level was dangerously loud. The tip level was fixed at 20% with a 5% add-on for employee welfare. AND you were invited to tip MORE for “exceptional” service. Are you kidding me??!! What was our option for mediocre service??? One of our entrees was a disaster—a rice noodles bowl with a protein and veggies. However, it was 97% noodles…for $24. And the waiter did nothing to warn us about how the dish actually presented vis. the puffed-up menu description. Our Peking Duck was mediocre (but a generous portion of duck). Our table was never wiped down after our dishes were cleared—the waiter brought us a dessert (an ordinary version of carrot cake) and plopped it down in the middle of an obviously messy table top. A total waste of $100. Shame on them.
