Do Not Come!!! This used to be my favorite place for authentic 东北老式锅包肉. But last night, I had extreme food poisoning from eating its food delivery. I vomited 2 times and diarrhea 7-8 times in the last 12 hours. I have to cancel my flight for Christmas because I cannot hold myself together for a flight. This is utter ignorance of public health. I’ll report to public health authority and the food delivery platform. It pains me that my favorite place did this to me.

I have been here since it first opened it’s doors, I usually make a visit when I am craving for a different style of Chinese food or when I am in the area. The restaurant is pretty compact where lines can build up. It is a two sided interior, where you can walk through the middle of the restaurant to either side of the dining area. Their menu consists of appetizers, dumplings, entrees, noodles, noodle soups, fried rice and much more. Everything is authentic, worth trying and made to order which is always a plus for me and I do not mind the wait since I am a very patient person. Their portion size is what I call more than enough, because most of the times I have food to take home. The service here is great thanks to their very welcoming, well trained and understanding staffs where I had never encountered an issue during any of my visits. You can either dine in, order for take out, phone in an order or order through a delivery app to have it delivered to you. I highly recommend this place to all Chinese food lovers, to anyone looking to try something new or if you just so happen to be in the area. I definitely will be back to tryout the other delicious options they have to offer.

I've been here before but I suspect there have been some changes. Nonetheless, the dumplings ( their specialty) remain tasty and plentiful.

Good food! Good service!
Delicious dishes served over rice 🍚 , generous portions and prices as well (especially if you go before 5p on weekdays!) they give yummy free appetizers (salt roasted peanuts 🥜 and fermented chili cabbage 🌶️ 🥬 ) while you wait for your food to come! We were starving when we first arrived and the lady serving us was kind enough to refill our free appetizers three times! We ordered fried calamari 🦑 for our appetizer and for our main entrees: black pepper chicken, sweet and sour chicken and Mongolian beef. I could only eat half and had leftovers so I had a meal ready for home later on 😊 we came on a Tuesday afternoon and were served promptly. It was not busy at all.

XLB - the win for the skin but bamboo shoots & water chestnuts in the filling ? tasty soup,
Sheng Jian Bao - thicky bao skin, nicely pan-fried, beef & carrot filling (not a traditional filling)
Sticky Rice Roll - we like 👍

Dumplings are very on point. Like this one a lot more than many of the famous spot in SF
For moderately priced excellent Cantonese cuisine in the Outer Sunset, please pay a visit to China North Dumpling 🥟
I’ve dined in a couple of time and recently did take-out a lot. My friends and I are big fans of this place!
We’ve tried their sweet and sour chicken, the black bean chicken, sesame chicken, shanghai style pork strips rice cake, honey walnut shrimp, string beans, Beijing style pork strips, pan-fried chive and pork dumplings and more. I love their sesame chicken - crispy, savory and sweet umami goodness!
Never had a problem with getting seats or parking.
They have a take-out special of 3 items for about $50, soup and white rice included! Super worth it. Check it out!!
Great food in an unpretentious setting, my partner and I have been coming here for over 10 years.

I recommend blindly the spicy szechuan chicken wings sooooo delicious 🧑🍳
Solid for everything except carbs - deep fried and braised eggplant is amazing, fried rice is meh.
Waited an hour or more to get my food seems like they’re more interested in to go orders rather than customers dining in. Overall experience 3/10 based off what i heard and seen these people force customers for tips careful when dining in at this place!

Classic SF hole-in-the-wall restaurant. Not dirty or sticky, just unassuming. Great food. I love their fish dishes!

Friendly Northern China cuisine. Basil Chicken Fried Rice and braised eggplant are must try. Egg plant is skinless. Their stuffed pancakes are great. Pork/beef/lamb. I can’t eat any spicy food so I cannot recommend any. Reasonable price with large portion.
