It pains me to have to write this review. I really didn’t want to do it but as a reviewer, I have to. It’s who I am. I’ve been to this location a few times and at least three times I have been disappointed. I went at 12:00 during the day, peak lunch time and they didn’t have any meat other than pork. I went at dinner and they had one person taking care of at least 20 people waiting in line. They also didn’t have chicken or steak at that time. They are either understaffed or don’t have the meats or any food during important times. I feel betrayed because I love this spot and chipotle. Man. This is the greatest pain a reviewer has to face. Seeing a place you love and want to succeed not come through when you need them to. I’m sorry chipotle, not even chipotle but this spot in particular. You have to do better. I will redo a review if I feel necessary but for the time being, I stand by this review. I didn’t want to do it but I have to be truthful. It’s my job. And it’s your job, chipotle, to turn this establishment around.

I am not planning to go again, I was given raw steak, It was super chewy and undercooked. When I came back to let them know about it, the manager came out told me that if wanted to I could get something else, and that I needed to return my food and pay for another plate... Really? not even one sense of customer service, they were in the wrong the less they could do was to give me a courtesy meal...but anyway, not recommended it unless you want to get food poisoned, and be treated like you were in the wrong.

Probably the worst chipotle in town hands down. Portions are ridiculously small. Asked for double meat and they couldn't even get half a scoop of each meat. The chicken was already only had barely half a scoop left but still wouldn't give the rest of it. Not to mention it was burnt. They then realized it was too little so proceeded to scoop one or two extra meat only. Went two hours before they closed but they were already cleaning up and had not much food left. I would avoid this chipotle at all cost.

I ordered a burrito, and I got one scoop of rice. The guy hit the spoon trying to get the stuck rice (on the spoon) onto my burrito. I got half a mouthful of rice and a lousy scoop of chicken. I also got pico, corn, and sour cream, but he didn’t drain the juices, so it mixed with the sour cream, and I had about one to two shots of the juice in my burrito. When it came to paying, I waited for one to two minutes because the cashier was in the back on her phone. She finally came out but she was still on the phone.

Food had good taste and the place was clean. Customer service was good. However, the only bummer was that my burrito was wrapped terribly and it was a huge mess. I ended up going to grab a fork to eat the rest.

How can chipotle be out of lettuce and veggies? Absolutely crazy, just go get some! And the place was very messy, unfortunately. I enjoy the chipotle on Geary and Masonic and will NOT be returning to this establishment. They just lost themselves a customer.

Kid portions with adult prices, they literally half scoop everything and then look at you crazy when you ask for “more rice” “more beans” “more corn”….like I’m an adult, don’t give me baby scoops. I need a full scoop of rice, of beans, or corn, of meat, etc…managers get off their ass and let them serve us a full meal.

We will never ever eat chipoltle food ever again. Aside from the Horrible food serving experience at Stonestown Chipoltle where they throw the food into the bowl with such force half the food falls back out into their serving tray.
Not only that the steak was nearly black, it was old & leathery. We threw the order + carnitas order in the garbage since another customer shares getting sick from the carnitas which is pork.
Still waiting on the promised customer service refund 9 days later.
Also, did you see on google, the food is allegedly pre cooked in plastic bags@ a central kitchen then distributed from that central kitchen to their stores, then reheated in plastic bags before serving to you? If you are there when the food serving trays run out, you will see the staff bring out new hot replacement which they refill directly from their hot plastic bags the food is reheated in.
From food testing reported on google, Chipoltle food is tested super high for phalates aka microplastics which is part of the problem of our poisoned food supply.
Microplastics cause cancer. You should be aware how your food is prepared. According to google, Chipoltle does not actually prepare your food fresh onsite.
Do your homework if you are eating Chipoltle regularly & care about yours and your families wellbeing & health. Heating food in plastic is a top microplastic concern since the microplastics leech into the food. This is why you want to avoid heating food in plastics or microwave. Also avoid leaving plastic water bottles in the sun where the plastic heats up leeching microplastics into your water.
Coming to eat at this place is coming hungry, because the customer service is very bad,
The workers at this place fight among themselves, they prefer to continue their discussion than serve the customer, the food is not delivered to you in your hand, they make you take it from the counter, the drink fountain was not working, you tell them and what they do is ignore you... I'm sorry it's not a positive review, but it's because my experience was quite bad...

This location always runs out of core ingredients by 7/7:30pm - e.g. guacamole, lettuce, fajitas. Poor food supply planning. Regardless, they charge customers the same for less food and ingredients.

Avoid! Came here Tues 3/11/25. Arrived 630p - Checked out @647p. Three food staff on food line. #1 Hispanic guy scraping the bottom of the pan for our 2 protein bowl orders. Offers no remedy for the scrapings of brown rice. #2 Hispani c lady sloppily throws the meat beans cheese lettuce guacamole in the bowl so sloppily the food is falling down not even making it into the bowl it's literally falling outside of the bowl v. Making it into the bowls. #3 blonde whyte gurl: when requested her to add back the sloppy food serving that didn't even make it into the bowls correctly, with her sour face, bad attitude, she dips the bare tip of her serving spoon barely into the guacamole to add back barely a spoon tip of guacamole to 1 of our 2 protein bowls.
#4 Asian guy@ register was super nice.
This is by far the most disgusting , unprofessional unacceptable food service at what normally is a great mall with great food and people.
Growing up here, Stonestown is normally a great mall experience with great quality restaurants & stores. This Chipoltle is disgusting!!
*Note: The steak was all dried out & leathery. It taste old, definitely not fresh. We will definitely toss the carnitas after reading other reviews here people feeling sick from the carnitas when old pork can make you very sick!

I wish I could give 0 stars. The hispanic worker the one on the heavy side is very rude and unprofessional. This isn’t my first time here and she usually works at the cashier and always gives a rude attitude. I went there today and she carelessly tossed my cup of queso in the bag and as I was on my way home I noticed the bag leaking and when I checked it, the queso spilled everywhere in the bag and there was none left in the cup. So I paid money for basically nothing. That worker should be fired she needs to go.
