Chisme Cantina is a small place but the food is excellent. The Jack Fruit Taco was tasty and delicious with a multitude of flavors, including Cilantro sauce. The homemade Flan was delicious and not too sweet. The staff were very friendly and accommodating to our group of five. Will definitely be going back for more!
I order the plantain burrito at least once a week! Hands down, the best vegetarian burrito in SF! I never have upset stomach after it, it feels really healthy despite being huge! I also visited the location in person and tried their Mahi tacos, which also were incredible.It’s also worth to point out, the service was super nice and the restaurant was sparkling clean (including the toilets, which is rare in this city).

I found the chicken to be excessively dry, which was quite disappointing. Despite my attempts to consume it, the texture and lack of moisture made it difficult to enjoy. I am unsure if the restaurant repurposes the chicken I had that day, but it was, by far, the driest chicken I have ever encountered. I am hopeful that this was an one time incident.**Update the owner messaged me and that was quite kind of him and he seemed to appreciated the feed back so that is very kind of him**

Had lunch at this place twice in a 6 day visit to SF it's so good. The cauliflower ceviche is to die for. Also had the veg bowl both times with jackfruit and it's just perfect.

5-star place. Absolutely amazing food both for vegans, pescatarians, vegetarians and meat eaters as well. As a mostly veg with a vegan SO and a meat eater friend we came back here after our first visit to try more food, it's perfect!
