Delicious and cozy izakaya spot. They now serve alcohol, and their pineapple beer tastes incredible. Sort of like a shandy. They make a non-alcoholic version of it too.

Very disappointed. This new location just feels like a regular restaurant. Theres no vibes and the table setup is not great either.Food is average with a few dishes that are pricey but nothing special.None of the fish quality will blow your mind. Its what youd expect from mid tier sushi.Best thing was the crunch tempura toppings on their dishes.

I don't love it as much. The portions seem smaller. Service seems trickier. Maybe it'll take a while to grow into the new space. But even the flavors were not as I remember.

New location, same great izakaya food and the atmosphere is getting back up to where it was at the original spot. Definitely one of the most fun restaurants in SF. Remember to BYOB until they get their drinks license!

Chome recently moved from 18th and Mission to 26th and Mission and we’re really happy they did. The food was excellent and the service was amazing. We’re looking forward to making this one of our go-to restaurants in the city.

Consistently my favorite restaurant in the bay, possibly of all time. Salted egg kabocha is life changing. The non alcoholic drinks are a treat too.

Feeling blessed that we live near this amazing Japanese "tapas" place. Amazing food. Great vibes. Saw a dancing baby!

We tried the combo skewers, millionaire green bacon, and salted egg kombucha. Everything was tasty! It was pretty busy on a Friday night. There was a wait by 6:30pm, but food service was quick. They don’t serve alcohol currently, but you can BYOB for a small fee.

Only okay food. Service was poor, they forgot to bring stuff that we ordered and still charged for it until we let them know. Ambiance is lame.
