So glad we chose Choquet's for our small family get together. Being foodies, we relished the big French dishes and wine.
This place is quite the gem. We ate a very early dinner & had fun interacting with the staff. They even changed the music for us.
A local favorite. If you can't go to France, go here. Food is excellent and authentically French. It can be cold in the restaurant as it's all open air. Great service.
Our loved and valued neighborhood bistro. Staff is friendly, food is delicious and the location quietly out of the mix.
We had a delicious and delightful lunch. There was a band playing it was enchanting. The service was great and attentive. The boeuf bourguignon there is spectacular and the portion is a good size portion. The steak frites is also a nice option, the meat was juicy and that peppercorn sauce was very tasty, we paired the steak with a bubbly rosé. Finally we made sure to save some room for desert and tried there crème brûlée and fondant au chocolat served with ice-cream and both were delicious!
Cute restaurant but they were pushy to let us know we only had an hour at the table because of “Easter”. Did not like feeling rushed. Wine and food were good, could have been a better experience overall.
Chouquet's is my second dining room and go-to eatery. Love the food, the people, and the ambiance.
Fantastic - it's good. All of it is good. I brought a pretty girl with me, which made the food even better
Great spot in the Filmore. As a half French guy, this place was great. The staff was friendly and they had a table for us right away. The croque madamme was really good. Will have to come back for the rest.

After seeing the video posted on First Amendment News its clear to any sane person to give the San Francisco branch of Fawlty Towers a miss. there will be something much better down the street with professional staff who are actually trained with real people skills. The behavior of several staff at CHOUQUET'S was just so appalling embarrassing for the clientele to witness. The moronic male counter jumper spraying soda on the cameraman and acting like the complete thug will never change, he is a liability to any business. The manager / owner who was also slightly demented jumping around and blocking the cameraman like a complete moron. She needs to take a good hard look and ask herself is she in the right business ? I think we already know the answer to that question.... Food looks extremely nice, but it's a real pity that service, and atmosphere at this establishment is ruined by the above mentioned staff, undoubtably it would definitely spoil anybody's dining experience., I will not be going there...... ever.

I love this neighborhood French cuisine restaurant, especially for brunch on the weekends when they would sometimes bring in a live jazz band to play next to their outdoor dining tables.
Their niçoise salad is deconstructed and absolutely delicious. Can’t go wrong with anything on their menu really, sometimes I would also order their mussels or steak.

The staff here is the worse, from the rude French loser that seats people, to the rest of the staff that "services" you, they are so off putting it makes you just want to leave and never come back. I guess they think it's ok to be rude to customers who are there to keep ur lights on, guess what, good luck staying open with this type of behavior. You can feel the tension amongst the staff with eachother and this spills over to customers who just want to enjoy a meal.
Patio chairs and tables are uncomfortable and cheap, the food is sub par, their water tasted funny, food is over priced, and they don't bring you a receipt when it's time to pay.
The little French man who acts like he's a hot shot know everyone will ignore ur table and act like he's a someone at a restaurant that nobody cares about.
Honestly, just go to The Tailor's Son off Filmore for a much better food, atmosphere, and staff experience. Food there is amazing.
This place is a ONE & DONE! Won't be suprised when I see that it's closed down. Do better!

Worst customer service in San Francisco......very rude management (and that's coming from a French woman!). There are numerous places in San Francisco to enjoy amazing food, in an amazing setting with amazing staff to welcome you into their establishment. In today's world of social media, customer service is the new marketing, and Chouquet's unfortunately failed to recognize this.
