Lovely little cafe on Filmore. Indoor and outdoor seating , menu has something for everyone (including dessert types. Staff are very helpful and on top of it. Tables are close together in true Parisian cafe fashion but it makes for a lively meal

We started with a dozen oysters, which were very fresh and delicious. This was followed by a nice butter, lettuce salad, and either steak frite or veal stew. both dishes were excellent. We plan to go back to this great restaurant

Such a charming, fun, delicious place to eat with a great staff and quintessential French food. We were a boisterous table and were helpfully placed in one of the outside street tables along Fillmore, where we could have our loud fun and bother no one. I wish I remembered our wsiter's name as he was fabulous (French himself I'm pretty sure). Being classic French food, the cuisine is heavy, while there are lighter items available. Prices are fair, especially given portion sizes which are average to above average ample. Don't pass on the tuna tartar which is delicious and beautiful. A neighborhood favorite and I've lived in the area for 15+ years.

Perfect neighborhood restaurant! It's rather intimate, not terribly noisy so good for conversation. The menu is simple, varied and the food very good. Service is always just right.

Had lunch on a sunny Monday with a friend. We arrived just before noon --sine tables were taken, but they were able to accommodate us without reservations. My salad Niçoise was delightful. The tuna is fresh/seared, greens are gently dressed, green beans just tender, the anchovies and olives beautifully briney...and all a perfect serving size. My friend had quiche Lorraine which came with mixed greens and she said it was solid. We also enjoyed the delicious shoestring fries :) Our busser really looked after us--thank you! Our wait person was good too. Will return to enjoy other intriguing menu items. Great choice for a weekday lunch. I especially liked the outdoor seating on a beautiful day.

The mussel was ok, but other food looks better. The chocolate fondue dessert is amazing. Great service, not like other restaurant who rush you to finish when you are enjoying your conversations.

The weight staff are very attentive, but not overly so. Very polite and welcoming. The food is well prepared, nicely presented, and very flavorful. I very much appreciated the suggested wine pairing. While I do appreciate wine, my vocabulary is not sophisticated enough, so I definitely appreciated that assistance. The only bummer is that itgets a little cold in there on breezy nights because the door doesn't close by itself and some people just forget to close it. Regardless, we went there during Dine about Town, and are very glad we found what will probably become a new regular spot.

I recommend the whole menu over the pre-fixed, but solid French choice in the city. The banana crème brûlée was the best thing they offered.

Good food, friendly service. Great neighborhood restaurant. The salmon, short ribs, are very good. Don't order the steak frites it's a four ounce portion sliced up on the plate and it gets cold fast

I've been in a lot of restaurants and love French food, and this was really a special place. The duck comfy was as tender and delicious as I've ever had it! Onion soup only gets Bplus, but was still very satisfying.

One of my favorite local haunts in Pac Heights. Staff is AMAZING & their food is delic! The steak Frits & chicken dish is delic! And, I LOVE their French Onion soup! Definitely one of my favorite places to eat near our daughter's school. :)

The food, service and especially the staff are excellent. The waiters and servers are the best and treat all of the customers like royalty. I would definitely recommend Chouquet's'. I really like their great selection of food on their menu as well.

A pleasant bistro with decent well-made food and friendly knowledgeable and attentive service. Good wine selection. We enjoyed our outside sidewalk table for lunch in partial sun. We will probably return when in the area.
