One of my favorite places to eat in the city! It's in a good location and amazing atmosphere. The chowder in a bread bowl is so good and the bread company across the street is also a good place to check out.

Typical tourist-trap fare at tourist-trap pricing. Chowders were good. Sourdough bowls were mediocre in flavor and texture. The cocktail I ordered tasted like it came out of a bag or a box. Semi-sports bar atmosphere.

So happy we came here for lunch. We ordered the clam chowder in the Boudin sourdough bread bowl and the garlic shrimp toasted sourdough bread. We LOVED our lunch. The clam chowder was better than one I had a few days ago from a fancy restaurant nearby. My friend could not stop talking about how delicious her shrimp was and even asked for the recipe. Axel, our server, asked the chef and gave us the very simple recipe. I highly recommend the clam chowder and garlic shrimp.
