Yeah this place deserves all the hype. We were in the area and we were starving after walking around Golden Gate Park and this place hit the absolute spot Pretty casual and small but there is good outdoor seating! It's fast casual as well so we placed our order at the counter. We got the full quesabirria taco meal for me and my friend to split and god this was heavenly These were by far some of the best birria tacos I have ever had. They are tender and delicious and the consume was amazing. I would eat these every day Worth the hype and give it a try

This place still has good food but I've noticed they've upped their pricing. I mean the food is good but not that good.

Hands down one of the best quesabirria tacos I've ever had. Period. I was visiting SF with some friends and we wanted to find a Mexican stop for lunch close to Golden Gate State Park. This place had great reviews and looked super authentic so we decided to stop in. I decided to split a quesabirria plate and a Mexican coke with a friend (which was a great choice because portion sizes were MASSIVE). The food was ready relatively quickly and we were able to sit in the public outdoor seating area. These tacos SLAPPED. So delicious and cheesy and I loved the consomme and all the toppings and sauces they came with (i.e. pickled onions, hot sauce, etc.). They were super hot and definitely dripping with all the seasoning and sauces but they were so good. I can't recommend this spot enough, definitely check it out if you're in the area!!

Best consume in town. I prefer it solo (it’s often served with birria). So umami and a deep red color from the added chiles. Also love their breakfast burritos and in particular the eggs and beans one.

The food was horrific. 2 of us paid $65 dollars for 2 enchiladas plates and 2 tacos. The rice and beans were the worst. I ate one wanna be enchilada and threw my plate away. I just could not stomach how bad it was. 1 star for the horchata. Never again. The pic is what I took home and threw it away after 2 days. Those 5 stars have never had real Mexican food.

Came here on a weekday so there was a lot of street parking. There was Spanish music playing, which was great for the ambiance. The place was busy with ppl mostly getting takeout so there was plenty of seating available. The staff are friendly and the food came out quickly. We ordered: - quesabirria: the filling and meat portions were generous. The meat was tender and well-seasoned. The shell was crunchy but not super crunchy, which I liked bc I wouldn't like it too fried or dripping with oil. The amount of consomé that came with it was a lot and it was so flavorful. Some places don't provide it with the quesabirria and even charge extra. - Carne asada torta: wow the torta was loaded with fresh ingredients! There was lettuce to add a nice crunch and avocado was a great addition. The bread was soft with a slightly crunchy crust. I don't usually get tortas so don't have much to compare it too but it was delicious! Overall, this is a solid place for Mexican food! The staff were welcoming and the environment was great for a meal. Will def come back to try the other tortas or whenever I'm craving birria!

Great food. The enchiladas with chicken were awesome. It’s a lot of food! A whole chicken quarter over two enchiladas with some avocado and veggies. The super burrito bowl was solid. We had the carne asada one. Decor is basic but functional. Only one table outside the restaurant but there’s a public parklet nearby.Very friendly service and would come back again!

We have the chicken enchiladas - highly recommend - cheese enchiladas with a whole chicken leg on top! And a carne asada burrito bowl - both were great!

3.5 STARS Date: Tuesday, March 19th, 2024 What: Dinner Takeaway Time Ordered: around 6:40pm Picked Up: about 20 mins later *Quesabirrias ($6.75) *Chicken Enchiladas ($18.50) *Regular Burrito ($12.99) I needed to run some errands, so the hubby and I decided to grab dinner here. We placed our order in person, headed down the street to grab a couple things, then came back to grab our takeout. I got the one birria taco. By itself, everything was rather dry and bland, but drown it in the soup and it became super tasty. I actually really enjoyed this. If it had more melty cheese, it would have been perfect. The hubby got the enchiladas. They were a little weird as the dish didn't come with any sauce on top. They gave us a fair amount of salsas on the side, so he ended up using some of those and a few sauces we had at home. Otherwise, they were waaay too dry. The burrito he got with al pastor. When he bit into, he was like, why is this so sweet?! Turns out there were pieces of pineapple in it. I know they marinate al pastor with pineapple, but I've never had the fruit served with the meat. Very odd. He needed to douse the burrito in salsa and hot sauce to get rid of the sweetness. Not the best place for enchiladas or al pastor, but their birria tacos are delish!
