Was in town for a conversation and stopped by for a drink. Friendly bartender and very friendly patrons had me laughing and sharing stories. Stayed for a few drinks and loved the Star Wars themed Pool table room. Will definitely revisit when coming to SF again 🍻

The Cinch Saloon in Nob Hill is a charming gay bar with a relaxed vibe and delightful old bar feel. The staff is incredibly sweet and attentive, creating a welcoming atmosphere. The decor includes a Star Wars-themed area with two pool tables and a pinball machine in the back, along with a small outside smoking area behind it. Guests can enjoy the digital/app-connected jukebox and often find good spots to hang out, especially if they manage to secure one of the two booths by the pool tables. Drinks are cheap, but must be ordered at the bar. The back patio is perfect for relaxing outdoors, and the festive Mariah Carey Christmas music adds to the cheerful environment. The bar has a cabaret license again, so legendary drag shows are back, adding fun entertainment. Whether celebrating a birthday or just looking for a friendly place to enjoy drinks with friends, The Cinch Saloon remains highly recommended for a great time.
