I had the pleasure of stopping by Clancey's Market after reading great reviews about their sandwiches. We were politely greeted, and while our sandwiches were made we were permitted to shop around. Our sandwiches were delicious and also packaged up and delivered to us at their outdoor tables. Great food. Great service. Can't wait to come back.

I would drive by this place pretty frequently and see people sit outside. Finally went in with my kids and the staff warmly greeted us. They hooked up my daughter with two slices of American cheese because we were looking for some string cheese as her afternoon snack. I got to enjoy the Mad Max on dutch crunch. Hit the spot on the sunny day!

Meat shaved beautiful thin and stayed juicy!

We absolutely love discovering small, local delis in the Sunset—they always feel like a well-kept secret, known only to those lucky enough to stumble upon them. Clancey’s is no exception!

Conveniently located just a short walk from the beach, this spot is perfect for grabbing a freshly made sandwich and enjoying it oceanfront. And trust me, you’ll want to savor every bite.

We ordered the New Yorker and the Club, and both were absolutely delicious! Every sandwich is made to order, with the option to customize with fresh veggies and condiments, making it easy to get exactly what you want. Plus, the portion sizes are fantastic for the price—generous without being overwhelming.

Beyond the sandwiches, Clancey’s also stocks a great selection of drinks and snacks, making it an ideal one-stop shop before heading out for a beach day.

What really made our visit special was the staff. They were incredibly polite, accommodating, and genuinely seemed to love what they do. Watching them interact with their regulars was such a heartwarming experience—you can tell this place has a strong sense of community.

If you’re in the Sunset and craving a quality deli sandwich, Clancey’s is an absolute must-visit. We’ll definitely be back!

I was walking back to my Airbnb and needed some lunch

I came across this market/deli and judging by amount of people waiting around the deli counter I figured it had to be good.

It was about a 15 minute wait but well worth it. I ordered a 'Mad Max' sandwich which was HUGE. My sourdough roll was fresh and crispy, with a huge amount of meat and toppings.

Prices are reasonable too - $16 for my giant sandwich and a bag of chips

Was walking through the sunset and stumbled upon this deli. The menu is in the back wall of the store. I did a build my own, turkey on wheat with the works. Pretty good sandwich! The customer service was great and the store was well stocked with basic goods ( soda, water, some house hold items, etc). Big plus, this is a neighborhood dog hang. You will see lots of dogs outside as you enjoy your sandwich. Eat here.

The best breakfast sandwich in the area, including Devil’s Teeth and Day Moon. Try it and tell me you disagree! Super friendly people, too.

Clancy’s is a local corner store with both a fairly extensive grocery store and a deli. They make a really gold Italian hoagie and breakfast sandwich with a dash of hot sauce on it.

They make an absolutely MEAN prosciutto sandwich. I’m super picky and requested meats and cheese only on their BOSS sandwich, and the first bite I took was just absolutely deliciousness. I also subbed the bread for a sweet French roll and it was the PERFECT combo. This is a legit deli and you’ll agree once you step in.

They put the deli in delicious. I'm a huge fan of liquor store sandwiches. Clancey's did not disappoint. I had their "Sunset Special", turkey, roast beef, bacon, American cheese on Dutch crunch $14 w/garlic mayo. Service was fast.

We decided to grab some lunch before hitting the beach. The store has good drink and beer selection but the deli workers are rude. They mixed up our orders and when I said I hadn't ordered my sandwich heated they got loud and argumentative. We dropped around $70 here and the food wasn't very good. The sandwiches were only about 6 inches long. If you're in the sunset looking for decent price to size deli sandwiches check out Roxys instead.
