Why is it never open, saw some ppl inside once. And it seemed to be owners. I hasn’t been open in 6 months
Do not eat here. It's unsanitary. I've eaten at Clay Oven over a dozen times, and it used to be a semi-weekly go-to. That ended when I found a dead cockroach in my food. Please read their food health inspection history on the department of public health's website—they've had 3 violations for insects and rodents in the past year and a half, and were forced to close in June 2022 due to so many infractions. Avoid.
HORRENDOUS experience. Do not order food from here!! Ordered a Friday night takeaway at 7:20pm. Told it would arrive at 8:20pm. At 8:30pm was called by the restaurant to be told it would be 40 mins late. It’s now 9:35pm and we still have no food. The person managing their phone doesn’t work at the restaurant, so has no idea what is happening. The delivery guy and manager won’t answer the phone. Thanks for ruining our Friday night.Update: It’s 10pm and the food only just arrived. It’s disgusting. Clearly cooked at 7pm, left cold, then reheated. It’s inedible.Never come here.
Was super disappointed. Actually kinda ruined my day last night. After a long day of not eating I went here and bought about 80 dollars worth of food for my family and I for dinner. When I walked in the place was empty and the burners from kitchen were on with food on but no one in sight cooking. After 5 minutes a gentleman comes out of the bathroom all sweaty and says it will be another 7 minutes (originally quoted 25 minutes and arrived 40 minutes because of traffic. When I got home we were forced to throw out our food. It was inedible, our app was completely the wrong order and I had to spit out my food at least 3 bites in until we decided to throw it out. Beyond disappointed and save your money, time, and headache.
Some of the best Indian food I've had
By far my favorite Indian restaurant in the city. The owner Babu has worked here for decades and has created such a pleasant atmosphere. He is very friendly, I recommend trying his chicken tika masala.
Great food, really liked the chicken tikka masala and the Rogan josh. They have great Punjabi chai and the waiter was super friendly and personable.
A great Indian restaurant near to Bernal height. I love tea and samosa.
One of my favorite places to grab lunch! The lamb curry and Biryani is delicious. The host is very friendly makes me feel welcomed.

Love this place. The Malai Kofta was different to what I'm used to, but it was really good. The Naan was pillowy and perfect. So was the Kashmiri Chicken and Mixed Grill; really tasty with lots of different meats. The people are super nice and they gave us free rice, rita and Gulab jamun.
No lunch buffet served anymore, but the lunch specials are well prepared, tasty, and reasonably priced. Hareesh was a gracious host and very engaging. Very good value!
The food and chai is exceptional. I must say the element of devotion makes all the difference in the world.
Chicken tika masala is EXCELLENT here, best sauce with garlic nan bread. Chana masala and oven meats make this my favorite Indian restaurant.
The kofta and paneer were too tough, as if they were defrosted a while ago.
