Food was just mediocre. Furthermore, their demeanors and service were very poor. Hostile and not considerate to the needs of the customers. I was even ignored for certain inquiries and requests.

Spicy short rib was fire
Chicken tangy sauce was pretty good
Chicken soy garlic was not as good but still very solid
Bibimbap was solid but not hot stone
Recommend by a kind but inexperienced bartender nearby who told me it was quite popular. Somehow we hit Cocobang when there were a couple large Korean families dining and just a few of us tourists. Seated immediately, served quickly. Short ribs and kimchi pancake were perfect. Long line of tourists as we left. Highly recommended

Awesome on every level. The Korean alcoholic drinks were awesome and went well with the delicious food. Totally recommend.

We were hungry after a day of baseball and sight seeing ans I was craving hotpot. So we found this cute little place. The wait was about a 20 minute wait. The wait staff was super friendly. We had the army soup and the kimchi fried rice. It was so delicious. Would def. War here again.

Took forever to get the order delivered through Uber Eats. It was under ‘under 30 min’ but took more than 50 min just for food to be ready and extra 20 min for full delivery. Be more honest with your time on apps.
Super tasty late night dinner place! No reservation so we waited around 30 minutes to get a table. Service and atmosphere was okay, very busy vibes around the time we ate (8PM).
Food was so delicious and filling for the price! The corn cheese was so good and cheesy, it went well with everything. The kimchi fried rice was also delicious and all the ingredients came together perfectly. The BBQ combo is the best deal for the price and the meat was flavorful and tender, with an extra bowl of white rice to go with it. I would recommend ordering any of these items because they were all so tasty! We still had leftovers too.
Overall, I would definitely recommend coming here for a cheap, tasty, late night dinner. I do wish there was some dessert on the menu though!

Want quality Korean food? You’ve arrived. Everything was better than expected, my favorite thing I had was the spicy pork short ribs.

This spot has quietly become a bit of a San Francisco favourite. The service is brisk but polite, and the food is great value—solid, well-made Asian dishes served late into the night. Perfect if you’ve had a few drinks and need something spicy and satisfying (and yes, some of it is very spicy, so proceed with caution). The lighting is a bit harsh for my taste, but the lively, eclectic crowd more than makes up for it. Expect a mix of locals, late-night wanderers, and beer-fuelled diners. A fun, dependable option when most other kitchens are closed.

Food was good, service was quick. Place was very tiny and there was a sewage-like smell which made it harder to consume the food.

Cramped loud, service with attitude, I had just broken my arm and was trying to get something to eat and proceeded to have the worst dinner I have ever had in my life. They had a chicken dinner with vegetables and there were hardly any vegetables. The meat was overcooked and tough. And I paid $23 for it which is way too much for such xxit. Next time I will go hungry and Wake up in the morning and have something decent at one of the delis around here..
There are very good ty and Korean places but this is not one of them in this neighborhood.
I think from here on out I'll call it: CocoBangBangBangBang.

Poor service and mediocre food. I guess this place thinks being “hip” gives it a license to neglect basic hospitality. The short rib was flavorless, the hot pot was forgettable, and the staff were inattentive and rude. Also, who doesn’t have hot water when a guest asks for it? Truly an odd and disappointing experience. This place wouldn’t go an extra inch for a customer, let alone the extra mile.
