Everything we ordered was phenomenal. Service was also great. I hope they keep the beef wellington after the renovation.

First time as we had our Christmas day prix fix dinner, which was a great value. We enjoyed not only the food, had very attentive service from check in to our waiter Justin, who was terrific. Will definitely go back so I can try the Beef Wellington!

So Gordon Ramsay has no restaurant in SF and this is THE place to get a Beef Wellington. It's a small joint that has probably more seating on the outside than the inside, but with heating lamps and blankets, we're ready to eat. The friendly staff was engaging and informative. We had the soup & salmon tartar as starters. The soup was under seasoned; the tartar was bountiful and tasty. We both ordered the star of the restaurant: Beef Wellington with potatoes Au gratin and kale on the side. We cannot finish two pieces of Wellies, so had to pack them to go. They're so moist, delectable and perfect for Christmas Eve. Our desserts: banana creme brûlée and pana cotta were both on point! Cocotte is a must-try gem on Nob Hill!

What a wonderful experience for our Christmas Eve dinner. Food was amazing and the service outstanding. We had made reservations and got a corner booth which was perfect for us as a party of 3. Loved everything!

If you're looking for Beef Wellington, this is the place to go in San Francisco. You get two slices, along with a side of potatoes, greens, and a sauce. The banana crème brûlée is also highly recommended. Limited seating inside; more seats of 2-4 outside. There are heating lamps and you'll get a blanket when it's chilly. No super fancy decor, but super friendly service. Up in Nob Hill,

We had a delightful Christmas Eve dinner at Cocotte. Each of the three courses was superb and the French wine pairings were all new to us. Service was prompt and efficient. It did feel a bit rushed, i.e., the server came to settle the bill while we were eating dessert, but they probably needed to turn the table on such a busy night.

This place was truly pleasant to go visit and eat at. I went on a date with my boyfriend here, and it was so cute and so special. I feel like the ambience what is different to most restaurants attend to San Francisco they sat us in this little nook that really made it feel special. We went a Wednesday afternoon and the restaurant was close to closing so they weren't too many people. The waiter that served us that night was extremely polite. I was pleased to learn that he was actually a customer that left the restaurant so much. He started to work there, so that the employees could get a break and he count participate in the culture he loved so much. He recommended me and my boyfriend an extremely delicious one that we still buy to this day. We ordered it as a gift to a couple of friends as well. The food itself was extremely delicious. I was pleased to learn that this is also one of the only restaurants in the bay area. That still does an authentic beef Wellington. They paired the beef Wellington with a unique sauce on the side and baked bone marrow that genuinely made every bite heaven. The meat was perfectly cooked and the bone marrow was perfectly done. Along with this we order the French and soup and the bread. The French onion soup was delicious, but I felt like it lacked salt. Maybe this was more of an authentic French onion soup since I know the French do not like as much salt as us. The bread was delicious and decent with an olive oil mix on the side that was AMAZING. Overall, I definitely would come here again I just feel like the people and the restaurant is very special and you need to other restaurants in the Bay Area. It made me feel at home and we actually connected with our waiter:)

Brought here by a vegetarian, and I’m happy to have experienced this place. I would never had tried this out myself being a meat lover but now I have a place I can bring vegetarian friends to. Not exactly sure what I had but it was tasty.

So glad to stumble on this place! The food was amazing! But the best part of the night was the waiter. He was so good, just ran the whole place, all 12 or 13 tables like a boss! One of the best I ever had. Great night!

Booked a dinner here for Thanksgiving and was really excited about the menu (Dungeness Crab Salad, Beef Wellington, and Banana Crème Brûlée). Website stated a strict 10 minute grace period so we arrived 20 minutes before our reservation at 7:00. Jumbled check-in operation, there was a line but they also allowed people to cut the line. Some confusion, we tried to be understanding given it was Thanksgiving and busy and waited our turn in line. Finally able to check-in at 6:50 and told to just wait around until our table was ready. Watched three groups who had arrived and checked-in after us get seated before us. If they had earlier reservations they certainly passed their 10 minute grace period. I understand people aren't going to be turned away on Thanksgiving but frustrating nonetheless. Finally sat at 7:21 at a makeshift table outside and nowhere near a heater. Table was not on flat ground and wobbled. Chairs were also different than everybody else's, guessing they'd been pulled from the back to accommodate extra people. Incredibly uncomfortable and slippery, especially given we were seated on slanted ground. Sat for five+ minutes without anyone greeting us. Decided to leave around 7:28. Can't speak the quality of the food, it honestly looked delicious. Service was sub par and experience was lackluster for a $300 meal ($85pp + bottle of wine). We were one of the younger couples there and certainly hope that didn't play a role in our treatment but one can't help but wonder. Hope to try again sometime in the future and get a better experience because like I said the food did look delicious. Review to be amended in such case.
