Small, boutique coffee shop with really good pastries, drinks, and vibes in SF. Best dirty chai I've had.

A gentrified coffee shop that doesn't care about the local community it's gentrifying. We ordered coffee and sat at the bar where there were stools, and were trying to organize some personal papers. We were not speaking to any other customers and were keeping to ourselves. The manager, I guess, told us to straight up leave since the papers we were organizing were political. The papers were plain democratic voter guides for the upcoming city election. There nothing scary about them. We were not telling customers who to vote for, or leaving the guides there. We were just going to use the tabletop for a few minutes to organize them. She said "she doesn't want any of that here".I personally don't like apolitical, gentrified coffee shops, and there are definitely so many better ones in the community that care about the community and want to be involved with the community. So I don't recommend coming here.

cool vibe , which i was unfortunately sad to see that the employees weren't very friendly or informative about their coffees and what its about . it's either you know what you want or don't which is cool ? but not when you are exploring new places especially with the foot traffic this area gets you would expect them to be more welcoming. when its something like this i avoid going but the coffee quality would be reasons why people would come back .

Very friendly service! Rich variety of coffee beans from around the world. Clean and cozy space. And of course the most delicious coffee you can get! Liked it a lot.

Great coffee and pastries! I tried the everything bagel croissant and it was sooo good. Please go get it, I'm so serious. I also got a regular drip coffee and it was solid. I'll be going back to try more things. Definitely would recommend this place.I stumbled upon it while traveling for work and I'm very happy about that.

If you’re into coffee, Marigold a block and a half away is a better bet

I live in the neighborhood and frequent this cafe a lot but won't be returning because the feeling I get depending on which baristas are working is that of being unwelcome. Like I don't need a lot but "hi what can I get you today?" seems kind of basic instead of a blank stare and "OAT CAP!!!" being yelled at me when I am literally in front of you. The coffee is good and the pastries are great, and I really want to support this small business however if I'm going to be treated like an inconvenience then I'll go elsewhere.

Nice staff and very reasonable pricing. Espresso drinks were made too hot though, our macchiatos were a little bit burned.
