This is a dark horse for SF’s best italian food (although I haven’t tried 7 Hills yet). The service is warm and attentive and every dish is delicious. Don’t skip the raviolo and the chicken.
As a visitor from out of town, I wasn’t sure what to expect—but I was blown away by both the quality of the food and the excellent service. I ordered the chicory salad, arancini balls (the charred scallion aioli is to die for!), and, of course, the famous raviolo—a true treat with its decadent brown butter sauce. I only wish I’d saved room for dessert! If I’m ever back in SF, I’ll definitely be returning. Thank you for a memorable meal!
In town for a few days and this was recommended by a local who lives on Russian Hill. It was terrific. The butter pasta with truffle was delicious. The squash blossoms appetizer and Arancini were sooo good. Staff was kind. A great pick!
