The exact kind of dingy bar that makes a night perfect-only recommendation would be to close and open later because genuinely loved it as a great place to keep the party going. Music was amazing!

Dropped in on a friday night with some friends, staff took a REAL ID, the terrible service and dead atmosphere literally ruined my night. There’s a reason its empty compared to every other one on the street. Please save yourself!!!

Vince the manager of comet club tried to give me someone else’s credit card when closing out and then was incredibly nonchalant after admitting to giving my credit card to another customer. He kept saying “I apologized I don’t know what else you want me to do.” He offered no remedy to this other than comping our current drinks (cran vodka so not really a compensation) and claimed he checked whether the card was charged for another person’s bill but wouldn’t look up the charges in front of my friend and me. It is a major business liability. As someone who works for restaurants and bar hospitality groups I know that this is a fire-able offense. This bar is very fun but incredibly unprofessional in dealing with their own mistakes and I would not recommend ever opening a tab there.

Definitely a hole in the wall bar. It had good music and the drinks were fine. My boyfriend and I went last Sunday night. Just felt like something was missing since it was practically empty compared to Mauna Loa up the street.
Deanna is a lovely bartender. I had drinks here on a Wednesday night and was thrilled to learn that Wednesday is Comedy night. The comedy was a lot of fun and the Comet Club has always been one of my favorite local bars.
