This is my go to place for Chicken & Waffles. There is something magical about the way they prepare the fried chicken - it's always super moist on the inside and deliciously seasoned and fried to perfection. I've been meaning to try other things on their menu, but I just can't help but go back to either C&B's chicken & waffles or the fried chicken benedict. The quality of the food is only rivaled by the friendly, attentive, and warm staff.

Amazing Halal Breakfast Experience!
I recently visited Cracked & Battered on 18th Street and had an absolutely wonderful experience! I ordered Fatima’s ShakShuka and it was incredible – perfectly spiced, fresh ingredients, and cooked to perfection.
The flavors were authentic and satisfying. It’s so great to have a quality halal breakfast option in San Francisco.
The food was delicious, the atmosphere was welcoming, and the service was excellent.
I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a fantastic breakfast, especially if you’re seeking halal options.
I’ll definitely be coming back to try more items on the menu!

The food is great and we always come here for their chicken and waffles. We went there today and there were pieces of ceramic (most-likely broken plate or cup) in my bite. The manager did not address it at all and all they gave was a replacement chicken and waffles with a *smaller and drier* piece of white meat as opposed to the dark thigh filet in the original order. Not to mention they forgot to give us cutlery too. Quite disappointed at their service and how they dealt with this.

We are visiting SF for a weekend and we decided to check out this place for some halal chicken and waffles. Oh boy! This place hit the spot!! We tried chicken and waffles and chicken egg benedict. Definitely worth trying!!

Came here for brunch and love the setup. You order and pay online before they serve you food. The food is amazing. I had a fried chicken Benedict and was super impressed by the portion and the taste. The only downside is the outdoor seating we were at was directly in front of the sun and it wasn't the most pleasant dining experience. I am okay with outdoor seating but maybe have a shed for situation like this.
Besides that, i would definitely be back to try on different menu again.
