Stopped in after my pet’s vet appointment because I was starving and needed something quick. I ordered two sandwiches, the combo and the pork banh mi, so my husband and I could share and get a taste of both.
I’ve definitely had better banh mis. The pâté in the combo looked and tasted like liverwurst straight from a can and was simply spread on, which wasn’t very appealing. The pork banh mi was very salty, and I even pulled out some of the meat from the combo because it was so fatty. Honestly, the bread ended up being the best part of both sandwiches.
It filled the immediate hunger, but it’s not something I’d go out of my way for again, especially with so many good banh mi options in San Francisco.

This is one of those local bakeries that flies under the radar. It’s cozy, simple, and definitely not flashy or trendy—but that’s part of its charm. It feels like a neighborhood spot rather than a destination café, and while it’s usually pretty quiet inside, you can tell it has its regulars, especially during the lunch rush.
What absolutely steals the show for me is their Vietnamese sandwich. It’s honestly one of my comfort foods. The sandwiches are huge—especially for the price point, which feels more than fair. Everything tastes incredibly fresh, and the bread deserves its own praise: it’s crunchy on the outside but soft on the inside (not flaky), which makes every bite satisfying.
I usually don’t stay to eat, but I do want to mention how kind the owner is. She’s genuinely sweet and thoughtful—she once told me that if I’m ever in a rush, I can call ahead to place my order. And if they don’t pick up the first time, she encouraged me to call back again and reassured me they’d take care of it. That small interaction really stuck with me and says a lot about the care they have for their customers.

Probably the tastiest bagel I have had, maybe ever... Coffee spot on. The plant collection is really cute. Would come again.

I've always had great sandwiches from here. The place looks unassuming, but the ingredients are always top-notch. Fresh and tasty. I just devoured a chicken pesto sandwich. Big, thick slices of chicken, really good pesto and fresh lettuce, tomatoes and red onion -- all nicely warmed up on toasted bread.

The best bahn mi I've had! The bakery bread is DELICIOUS. I got the BBQ chicken, extra sauce with no jalapenos, and it's perfect. Ratio of bread to filling is superb. Wifey isn't the warmest on the phone nor in person, but we heard the hubs on the phone during pickup, and he's the personable one lol.

We trying to support the local business, but the owner she is very rude and unprofessional, the price is too high for the quality and they charge you more for lettuce and tomato on your sandwich!!
