Hush puppies were best I’ve ever had, and I’m from the south! Gumbo was tasty, expected larger more flavorful shrimp for the price.

Great food for vegan, only one server so probably a bit on the slower side. But I think the food is healthy and worth the waiting

If you are from California, you will love this place. If you are from the south and know what real Cajun food is and you are coming here because all the food in San Francisco is bland and has no flavor. You won’t enjoy this place at all. I’m giving it five stars, it taste better than other places in San Francisco that we’ve been. And I don’t like hurting small businesses, but I had to use salt and pepper on red beans and rice and jambalaya and the hot sauce they offer is not Louisiana hot sauce or Tabasco or anything like that it’s Chrystal, which is the lowest brand of hot sauce you can imagine. Also when you order a Mexican Coke, the reason you’re doing that is because you want the glass bottle so you don’t have to drink out of one of these godforsaken paper straws that ruin the flavor of soda. So please, when somebody orders the Mexican Coke or the Mexican Sprite leave it in the bottle and bring it to the table , don’t pour it in a glass over ice to water it down and stretch a Mexican bottle of Coke to two glasses for two separate customers bring out the bottle for them because the paper straws are terrible. Also Cajun jambalaya that comes with chicken and sausage. The chicken is actually cooked with it, not cooked on the side and served on the side. my husband did love the fried bacon wrapped oysters though so that’s what I would suggest. He said it was fantastic.

What a fab place .. in the hunt for South Lousiana food ( Jambalya) we were recommended Creola from the SFO information guide in the city centre and as tourists we where not dissapointed - the staff were so helpful even charged my phone.. the food was amazing.. I would say a more sophisticated SL food I have experienced either in SL or around the world .. I'm a meat lover so plenty of fab selections, the drinks menu alcohol and non were original as their food menu and restaurant decor.. can't stress enough how much our family enjoyed our visit .. just go!

Their po boys are ok. On the smaller side of things and flavor is nothing special, but simple, clean dishes
Interestingly, I found a misshapen pearl in one of the oysters of my po boy

Yummy yummy vegan options. Had the black eyed peas and sweet potato soup (4 out of 5), wild mushroom jambalaya (10 out of 5!), and a side of green beans (3.5/5) Should have gotten the larger dish of the jambalaya it was so delicious. I'm not super familiar with creole food, so can't speak to the authenticity, but it was delicious on it's own.
Vegetarian options: Not a huge selection of veg options, but more than enough for me. Only thing missing was a vegan dessert :(

what a catfish
Service and atmosphere was great, but the crab Benedict I ordered had a funny taste. It was good that there was a small amount of it so I just picked it off. I should’ve known better than to order seafood for brunch. Stick with their regular menu and it should be fine.

Overall: There are very few southern places in town and this was pretty standard fare. The extended review…Food:Buttermilk Fried Chicken - 3/5 - The chicken was standard fare. What I loved was that you get two sides with the entree so I opted for two servings of Jambalaya which was standard fare was well. - Friendly service. - Nice indoor and outdoor seating.

Been here twice and both times have been a really enjoyable night out. The corn hush puppies app is so good. If you get the beignets, they give you a choice of chocolate or carat-- trust me go with the caramel (or both)!

Overall a great experience, but I would avoid sitting on the second floor as the smoke from the kitchen rises.
