We were surprised and delighted to see a new curry spot open in our favorite old curry spot (Izakaya Roku ?). The serving you get is pretty large and the curry is dark but delicious. If I lived in sf this would absolutely be on my regular dining list.
Phenomenal service, food, and atmosphere. I’ve been here twice in one week, and I’m impressed. The restaurant is clean, and they have little remotes to call them for service and the check. There’s one waitress in particular that just goes above and beyond with providing a Japanese welcome, and I love that about her!
The tonkatsu set w/ miso sauce and mentaiko shiso cream pasta were both delicious and an incredible value!! <$20/plate for a yummy, filling meal in an upbeat atmosphere with amazing service? Yes, please! I am very surprised this place isn’t packed. I’ll be going back frequently.
