It’s a self service kind of restaurant with decent space to sit. We ordered vegetarian food which included paneer tikka masala, dal makhani, garlic naan, tandoori roti and plain rice. Food tasted stale which was the biggest concern. Staff is friendly and helpful.

I am going with a solid 4-star rating. The ambience, service, and overall food quality were impressive. Their appetizers and curries were flavorful and well-prepared. However, I had to deduct one star due to the biryani, which didn’t quite meet expectations—it lacked the depth and richness of flavor I was hoping for.

I had a disappointing experience at this restaurant. The food quality was not up to the mark—it didn’t taste fresh and lacked flavor. On top of that, the service was poor. The staff, especially the receptionist, was rude and unprofessional. It felt like they didn’t care about customer satisfaction at all. I wouldn’t recommend this place unless they seriously improve their food and attitude toward customers.
Chicken karahi is fire. 4 stars because its a bit expensive
I went to this restaurant because I heard they had good food. Upon my arrival I was completely ignored. I wasn’t asked did I want to be seated or giving a menu. I walked outside because I seen the menu on the window and I was locked out of the restaurant. I believe I was being racially profiled and discriminated against. Very poor service.

It is small sitting area in the restaurant with very basic furniture and everything is self service. They will only bring food on your table and you need to get the plates and spoons from designated area on own. If you pay for drinks get you drink from fridge on own.

Solid place for Indian food. Everything is really good and at a good price. Not the nicest atmosphere, but makes up for with great food.

It’s a cold, rainy night in North Beach and in the middle of the holiday season. The streets are unusually quiet. But not Curry Leaf. It’s bustling as if it’s a Saturday night during Fleet Week. Why? The food. It’s a delicious, no fuss, no muss, no break-the-wallet experience. Get the masala, get both kinds of naan and be grateful this hole-in-the-wall exists!
